  1. You might need to clarify what you mean by a belt. Do you mean a hands free leash belt or are you talking about a treat pouch/gear belt or something else?
  2. I'm baaaack! I didn't have much of a chance to edit my photos from the last MONTH! But they're done now that I'm on a more sleep-friendly rotation! I will slowly catch up with the thread... I had a flick through though - and I saw that selfie, Huga!!! Loving your photos - they are brilliant! Kja - welcome back! Love the shot of the dogs running at the beach! And that shadow shot is cool, tlc!
  3. Good luck for the CCD, CC! We're on the countdown to Sunday now... Not long to go!!
  4. Yeah Vickie suggested that. Yes I have a plank at home which he is completely fine with. He will still do his contacts as well (including on the downramp of a DW if he's only got a step or two to go). Sorry I really have hijacked the thread!!
  5. Thanks guys. I've had lots of great suggestions so thank you to everyone for your support! I will just have to chip away slowly...
  6. Hey TN, Ruby is proof that they can get over the fear and get back on it. She's had 2 scares now and so I've had to battle twice to get her back on the dogwalk, but she's been ok for most of this year and is trialling in agility. She has always feared "ramps" even before her dogwalk phobia started so she does creep up the dogwalk instead of running over it, but at least she's getting on there and wants to! I had to use loooooooooots of treats, also tried getting her to follow another dog over it, also had other exciting new handlers take her over. Just a combination of those and patience got her back on it. Good luck!! What happened, did I miss you posting about it? Congrats on your quallies, too!!! Vickie might be able to describe what happened better than me, as an outsider's perspective. But he basically all but fell off the DW. He couldn't get his footing, started freaking out and so sped up and then launched off the top of the down-ramp. And now he refuses to get onto the DW and freezes if I lift him onto it.
  7. Ahsoka has vet check on Friday night... I'm still crossing my fingers that she doesn't come into season. She isn't due until mid-August, but you never know with her!
  8. I have a Keeshond, Finnish Lapphund and a Kelpie... I can't see myself wanting anything other than these breeds, though you never know what the future holds.
  9. well done with the jumping & weaving!!! I wish I had thought to suggest you put him back on the dw yesterday. He did so well to stay on it as long as he did. Don't worry, you'll be able to work through it Yeah - I did some work with him in the ring (NFC) and he managed to walk down the end of the DW and do a contact and i did some extra work with food later... he refuses to budge when he is on the horizontal part, even with food. He is too scared to move a paw! I'll just have to do lots of work with him to build him back up. It's unfortunate because he used to LOVE doing his contacts.
  10. Another Q for Jedi - Elementary jumping! AND he did his weavers twice today!!! Unfortunately he had no chance in his agility runs because he's now petrified of contact obstacles after his incident with the dogwalk yesterday. poor boy!
  11. Jedi got his first jumping quallie today!!!!!!!!!!!! I am THRILLED!!!!!! We finally got it together!
  12. The same question came up last year It is an impressive test! 1.5 weeks to go until our ET... Provided the little miss doesn't come into season! It'd be pretty typical of Soaks if she did! Fingers crossed we get there! Today we did 10.5km with a 15 minute break at 6km... I couldn't be happier!
  13. To feed by dog obsession! I joined just before I got Jedi and wanted to find other Keeshond owners.
  14. Jedi * CD Title * CDX Title * Train Scentwork for UD * FDX Title * FDCh Title * JD Title * JDX Title * AD Title * Neutered Champion Title * Maybe a HT pass if we get around to it We are working towards our CDX now, but I would be happy with just one pass for this year. And realistically I am aiming for just a JD for Agility because I'm cutting back on the number of trials I enter after next month with my exams coming up. He may have enough points for his AFDCh but I am waiting for them to update the point score. Ahsoka * CCD Title * CD Title * Train for CDX * ET Title * AFDCh Title * Delta Therapy Dog certification * JD Title * Train for TD * Maybe a HT pass if we get around to it Soaks has 2 passes towards her CCD. She is entered in her ET and she may have enough points for her AFDCh as well. She needs a little more work for Jumping, but she might get there.
  15. Congratulations OSoSwift!!! Ahsoka and I have 3 weeks to go until her ET... Woohoo! We did 6km this morning - loving this nice weather!
  16. Glad to hear you're recovering and that Barkly will be there to give you some therapy soon
  17. That is a real shame.. It's such a good place to do the ET!
  18. WOOOHOOOOOOOO! Go the UDX passes!!!!!! That is SO awesome!!!!!! Yay for everyone else! Some really briliant stuff worth bragging about!
  19. Yeah alright... Struggling a little be more creative when I'm time-poor. But trucking on! Love the dog show photo!! Nice!
