I use those imitation crab pieces Ahsoka goes mental for them. And then on other days I use cheese, uncooked skinless beef sausages or good ol' devon. Where do you get those from Nik?? They look great, I've never seen them before. Just from Coles or Woolies! You find them in the deli section or you can buy them in big frozen bags in the frozen seafood section. Ahsoka LOVES them.

With Delta they have to be between 12 months and 10 years of age.

You do the assessment (lasts about 10 minutes) and then in Sydney at least, you do a 1-day information session (without your dog) where you pick your preferences. Then once you are placed, how often you do your visits depends on what the facility wants and what you're available to do.

Thanks Fran. He really enjoys it! We hadn't been for a couple of weeks because we were down in Melbourne and we had our first session back on Sunday... When we got to the car park of the nursing home, Jedi started screaming with delight!!!! He was SO excited! I can't believe there's no pet therapy up where you are! That really sucks! Rover is SOOO suitable!! He is awesome!

What?! It's not my fault - you're a great demo dog...er.... human! People need to be edumacated in how to talk to their dogs! The funniest thing is hearing them try to mimic me! Especially the big macho guys with their big macho dogs! :D We are so cruel!

Jedi, Soaks and Fable are probably the only dogs from a registered breeder... There is a pure BC but I don't know where they got him from. The others are crosses or pures from rescue!

I would say we have in excess of 50 toys... We have about 3 baskets full of them. A bit of an obsession of mine
