You enter a normal ET.
  2. 12 weeks tomorrow! Another family photo! She's growing like a weed!
  3. Jedi and I were supposed to trial today... But yesterday at the interclub challenge he was scratching at the start peg and then decided to roll in the grass and then to top it off he was vomiting all night. Needless to say we had a lovely sleep in and he's feeling much better now!
  4. OT segue -> did you all see the Sony ad this week? It was shot with a Canon 5DII ROFLMAO *snigger*
  5. My boy's behaviour changed within days of him being desexed... He went from a highly distractable teenager one week to a highly focused dog the next! He was desexed at about 1 yr old. I don't regret the decision at all. We didn't have much of a choice anyway - he had an undescended testicle that was found by the vet riiiiiiiiight up in his abdomen during surgery. It was never going to come down.
  6. Stormie have you tried goat? I have a butcher near me that sells whole goats and will cut it up into whatever size bits you want. That's what we used for Jedi's elim diet.
  7. Great shots!!!!! Looks like so much fun!!!
  8. Ahsoka has just recovered from a pad injury (rear leg, 2nd toe). It was the full depth of the pad. She wasn't healing after 1 week so had surgery (debridement) and sutures put in. She had a bandage on the entire time (all up 3.5 weeks) changed every 3 days. Sutures were removed after 14 days. She was crated the entire time except for on lead toilet breaks. Its now been just over a month and her pad is now completely healed and she's even back at flyball! So I would amp up the crate rest and bandage.
  9. He is SO cute!!!!! Great shots!!!!!!
  10. Yep the closest is Brush Farm. If a weekend is not suitable, Hills District at Castle Hill Showgrounds is on a Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
  11. There's a video on the Delta website now of an example. You can't use rewards during exercises. http://www.deltasociety.com.au/Volunteers/Become
  12. You're correct. The only places there are allowed more than one dog/handler team is at the Children's Hospital and at fundraising days.
  13. Jedi loves the escalator... Not only does he not have to walk up stairs, but he gets to ride in my arms There's no way I'd risk it and even then when and where would I get the chance to even have the opportunity to train him for escalators. The only time we come across them in our Delta work is when we are visiting shopping centres. He's only 13kg, so carrying him is not a problem. Lifts on the other hand - Jedi has learned are treat-dispensing machines and runs right in!
  14. How flipping adorable.... im sure there will be plenty of fringies for this cutie! Thanks! You can have her when she's being a PITA! She may look all innocent... but beware!
  15. Banned? Nope. Almost everyone I see still uses them in the ring (including myself). Either that or a martingale.
  16. Yeah we've had a huge turn-around thanks to our awesome dermatologist! Unfortunately the news lately hasn't been as good but we'll keep on trucking!
  17. How soon do you need them, Helen? Jedi would love to be a model for you and will be in Melbourne in September for the royal...? I assure you he's very well versed in being a model!
  18. Great idea!!!!!! Allergies - we're getting there! He's well and truly back in the ring and has a much better quality of life now! Titles obtained so far: - CCD title - ET And 1 pass towards Novice OB. I've started some UD work with him, too. Herding - we haven't done anything because there were no stock available at our club. We're starting back in a few weeks. Agility - done nothing. Too busy with everything else! Flyball - he'll start competing in a few months. OB - Soaks hasn't been as successful as Jed this year so far... I am re-training her for obedience, so trialling is pushed back a little. Flyball - She gained her first two flyball titles - FD and FDX, so well on her way to get her Flyball champion title! Tracking - started training - she's going well! Herding - not started for same reasons above ET - A pad injury got in the way of this one! She'll go for it next year instead. I'm toying with the idea of entering her in the next month or so... Just gotta iron out a few issues and we'll see how we go! This goal is definitely achievable though!
  19. Thanks everyone I can never seem to take enough photos of her! Luckily she quite enjoys being in front of the camera... Once she's a little more stable I'll start introducing her to the world of props and posed photos!
