  1. Yep, Jedi does that a lot - usually when he's not feeling well with an upset tummy or with the itchies. He'll do the action that Kibah's doing and then plonk himself down on top of the cushion.
  2. Have fun there! Unfortunately we won't be there. It's the weekend before we arrive.
  3. Thanks for putting up some videos of Mack!!! He's so cute! I love watching them tick at that age!
  4. Like Shell said, we'll be down there for the royal and for a few days either side. You're more than welcome to use Jedi - he would be fine for city photos and is happy to do anything for a photo (and can be trained pretty quickly to do anything out of the ordinary that you might need for a shot).
  5. *taps foot* Where is the video!? It was too dark to take one... I did think about it though! Maybe next session I'll do a quick video!
  6. As a general rule, no to both, but then again I don't usually let my NON-DA/HA dogs off lead in dog parks!
  7. Awwww, will you at least video it so that WHEN you pass you can show us all!?
  8. Not telling anyone I'll just have to turn up to all of them then!
  9. Yeah people think you can't train spitz breeds but it's so not true!
  10. Woohoo! Congratulations Yeah I have some video of Jedi... He is still very much a beginner, but it was fun to give him a race! It's been an interesting road with Jedi - at his first flyball training session he did a full run without the ball... And I have spent the last 9 months convincing him that the name is flyBALL for a reason!!!!!! He FINALLY got it 3 weeks ago! He has the most beautiful box turns but I have just been focusing on him getting the ball... So now I just need to remind him of what he's supposed to do on the box. I only have photos of Ahsoka from the weekend... But this was her debut race back when she was doing 6.8 second runs.... She clocked a 5.6 second run on the weekend
  11. Oh good! Hopefully we will get through Open without needing too many trips to the mechanic! Our attempts at even LEARNING some of the UD exercises have been pretty poor! That gives me so much hope!
  12. I finally fixed Jedi's DB presenting issues! Without a DB he is dead straight, nice and close... Add the DB and he would give me a myriad of things! The check-list for things to perfect before he's ready for Open is getting smaller! Though I'm sure something else will break soon! That's just the way it goes, right Ness?!! Our next Novice trial is in a couple of weeks... I hope Mr Cheeky decides to bring his brain to this one!
  13. AWESOME WORK!! Will we be seeing you in Dandenone this November? Nope. It's in the middle of my exams. But we will be there for Sydney Nats in 2011!
  14. Wooohoooo! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Congrats!!! I don't know much (actually, nothing!) about flyball! How do you obtain a Flyball Champion title? Way to go All Flyball titles are based on points accumulation. You get 1 point for every heat completed correctly by all 4 dogs. If you win that heat you get an addition 1 point. Flyball Champion is 50 points, Australian Flyball Champion is 150 points. The full title list is here: http://www.flyball.org.au/
  16. Well done, isn't it great when when one your dogs kicks it up a gear and smashes thier PB. Are you coming to the nationals with Ahsoka and Jedi? I know!!! I almost died of shock! She was running 6.8 seconds at her last comp and ran a 5.6 yesterday! She was consistently under 6 seconds all day! I can't wait to see what we can clock when she's back to her usual fitness! Unfortunately we won't be at the nats! It's right in the middle of my uni exams! But I will be there for the 2011 Nationals in Sydney!
  17. Oh no! It sounds like the was a glitch in the Obedience rings this weekend! Ness I'm the same - I would rather fail miserably than come so close!
  18. I have a flyball brag! Ahsoka made her return to flyball after her pad injury and despite her fitness being less than pre-injury' she smashed her PB by over a second! She is only a few points away from her Flyball Champion title! Jedi had his first race in a competition even though he only started doing full runs 3 weeks ago! He was also awarded Judge's pick of the division!!!!!! Goooo Jedi!
