  1. Oh poo, I'm so sorry! Are you guy on Cortisone? If so can you give a higher but still safe dose on trial days? No, he's been totally weaned off cortisone. He hasn't had, or needed steroids in months. He is on pulse therapy antibiotics (most of his itching now comes directly from his folliculitis) so I have modified the days he gets his pulse so that it coincides better for our trials. I have come to the realisation that Jed will never be itch-free and these things will happen every now and then, and we just have to keep on trucking!
  2. Send her papers to Dogs NSW. If you need help working out the cost of the transfer, I can help. I did Fable's recently.
  3. Great work Carla!! This one is unreal This is my fav, too!
  4. Eek! Bargo is almost 2 hours from me... That might be a little TOO far. But if that's my only option I might consider it. I'd prefer to only have to drive an hour or so.
  5. ARGH how frustrating Nik!!!! Poor Jedi How did he go with the rest of the exercises? Pretty crap His enthusiasm let him down (Mr Forger!). We were on 181/200 which is the most shocking he's ever done. But hey, it's better than 0/200 because he was scratching through the whole thing! Never mind! We have a double next weekend, so hopefully it all comes together then.
  6. I have a question... We started agility at PICSI but found that it was constantly cancelled because of the rain (grounds too boggy). We haven't done any training for ages now as we've been focusing on flyball. But now both the dogs are trained up for FB I was thinking of starting agility again. Problem is, I don't really want to go back to PICSI because of how often training was cancelled (there was a period where it wasn't on for about 2 months!) and I can't go to Castle Hill because it's on the same night as flyball. Are there any other good clubs around on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday night? I don't mind a drive if it's a good place to train.
  7. Yeah but before she arrived puppies didn't really do anything for me... Until I spent time with Fable. That amount of spunk was enough for me to go weak at the knees
  8. I hate allergies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :p :D :D :D Jedi flunked his novice trial today with 30 seconds to go in the down stay. He lifted his chest up to scratch his neck and then lay back down. *sigh*
  9. Nope... I love my trained adult dogs! Though Keeshond puppies.... That's another story.
  10. Soaks is at the upper end of the standard. It's 17 inches +/- 1 inch. Soaks is 17 3/4". I think Fable has a chance to be taller than Soaks. But thankfully the lappie standard is not really concerned about size. Type is more important.
  11. She'll stay that way. She's a blue which is a dilute colour.
  12. ;) It's so true!!!!!!!!!! She is growing like a weed!!!!! Those legs are SO long now! She is almost the same height as Soaks! I hope she slows down or I'll have a Great Dane sized Lappie!
  13. Sounds like it's a go then!!!! Thanks guys!
  14. Looks great! If we owned our current house (SHOCKING drainage!) that looks like it would be a great option!
  15. You asked for it... Sweet Fable.. EVIL Fable... Spazzed out Fable Getting a nice photo of the three fluffers turned out to be more difficult than usual.... Soaks decides to be rude... Then the lappies become possessed... At last!
  16. I was in a similar position - I had it sitting there unwatched for AGES! But I decided to get it out a few months ago and did all the exercises with Jedi and Soaks. I can now let Jedi go from the other side of a park and he'll race over and zip into his crate. It's pretty impressive to watch! I must say, I am very slack about the whole sitting as soon as I touch the door though. I don't care what position they're in when the door opens just as long as they wait.
  17. I just looked at the dates and you (or someone else) may have to show Jed on the Friday for me as I won't be able to get there until Friday night! Bugger!
  18. Ooh great! Thank you! Woohooo! Though Walcha is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away Might be worth it for a triple though! Come on :D I love a good triple country show! Yeah and Woof was wanting to do a few country shows! If you go, I'll go!
