Good luck SBT! I don't think Jedi will be going very well on Sunday... He's lost his mind! He was feeling SO good at Flyball training last night that he decided to do flying leaps in the air in the middle of a flyball run... Lovely Jedi - but please go get the ball! Who knows what he's going to do at the trial! I hope he gets his brain back by then!

I think they all did!! Though Fable had the excuse that she was young enough not to know any manners!
-
We always have a little 'party' for our guys... It's really just an excuse for our dog friends to come over (they come here with their dogs almost every week anyway ) Ahsoka's 2nd birthday

Good luck!!!

Oh yeah, you'd think I was killing Soaks every time we have to get her measured at a flyball comp! Jedi doesn't give a damn about it! I've decided to introduce the measuring stick to Fable nice and early! She got her first go at 14 weeks of age!

Last time I was at the grounds they were there, but that was late last year. I thought they were just for hand washing, but I have no idea for sure!

Eek that reminds me - I need to get Jedi measured.

Thanks!

Thanks lovely. When is your next trial?? Sunday! We have a double! Thankfully that's not a problem I've ever had to deal with!
-
Sas - you can have some of Jedi's enthusiasm, too!!!! Though we are finally making progress and he isn't forging anywhere near as much as he did at the trial on the weekend. What a shocker! Fingers crossed he remembers his brain on Sunday! Good luck, Huski!!!!!!!!

This is my concern. We were thinking of getting a pap later down the track for flyball, but you've just confirmed my fear... I think my lapphunds are too crazy to play safely with a one. I think others have given some nice ideas particluarly corgis and swedish vals.

Wow, what a difference, Sas!!!!!!! Nice work!

Great idea! Before Fable... With Fable... I really need to get some better ones...

Just a 50:50 ratio with water in a bottle and then pour over after bath, scrap off excess water and then dry. We haven't had Folliculitis for years thank heavens, however this did help last time we had it. The same ratio in a Spray Bottle too for day to day use. Obviously not to be used on open wounds etc. Great! Thanks Sas! We will give it a go!

Oh poo, I'm so sorry! Are you guy on Cortisone? If so can you give a higher but still safe dose on trial days? No, he's been totally weaned off cortisone. He hasn't had, or needed steroids in months. He is on pulse therapy antibiotics (most of his itching now comes directly from his folliculitis) so I have modified the days he gets his pulse so that it coincides better for our trials. I have come to the realisation that Jed will never be itch-free and these things will happen every now and then, and we just have to keep on trucking! Have you tried White Vinegar rinses to help with the Folliculitis? I found it helped us a bit. No? Do you have any information on that, Sas?

Can you do Saturday mornings at St Ives? Link No, weekends don't suit as we have obedience trialling, herding training and dog shows on almost every Sat/Sun. I've emailed the lady in Bargo recommended by Vickie. It sounds like that's going to be our best option.
