  1. Yep! I sure do! I think it's great for bonding and just having a bit of fun. It's nice knowing that if you stuff it up, it doesn't matter!
  2. I do Flyball, Agility, Obedience and Herding with 3 dogs. It is a struggle to fit everything in, but we just make it work! I have a whiteboard with a list of things that I am working on with each dog for each sport, otherwise I lose track of what we are up to! I also get up early to train the dogs and do lots of work in the evenings. I also make the most of my time while at trials with my dog/s that aren't entered.
  3. I can't decide between two photos!! arghh!
  4. Wow! What a beautiful run! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
  5. Yeah I thought they would ask different questions.
  6. I got an email from Petplan Insurance over the weekend. They are sponsoring the "first comprehensive Pet Census survey" in Australia. "Pet Census 2011 has been launched to follow on from the 2011 Australian Bureau of Statistics Census, which only collects data on humans. We feel that pets are such valuable and important members of society that they should be counted. That is why we are calling on all Pet Owners to complete the Pet Census 2011 Survey so to evaluate what it is like to be a pet owner in Australia today. Incorporating information on health, finance, social and family, the Pet Census 2011 is the first port of call for all you need to know about the relationship between human and animals. The Pet Census 2011 survey will be available for pet owners to complete via the following website, http://www.petcensus.com.au/ from 1st September 2011 through until the 1st of November. We estimate that it will take you approximately 15 minutes to complete the survey. All we ask is that you pass on the information about Pet Census 2011 to all your family members, friends or anyone whom you feel will be interested. Results of the Census will be sent to anyone who has indicated at the end of survey that they wish to receive results. Survey responses will be completely confidential as the Census is not collecting any personal details. Any information collected will not be used for any commercial purposes. Results of the survey will be reported in a summary format, so there is no way anyone can be linked to their responses."

  14. Jedi has environmental allergies (house dust, dust mites, food mites) and a food allergy (chicken). He has been through immunotherapy injections and is now on life-long pulse therapy antibiotics which keeps his chronic staph infection at bay.
  15. I was playing with ~Shell~'s prong collar last night... I had it on my arm, my wrist, my thigh, my calf... I would've tried it on my neck but my head was too big There was no pain, despite me yanking on it as hard as I could. I've done the same with a check chain in the past (which hurt like all buggery!) and hands down I would happily go for the prong collar every time.
  16. I drooled over cmkelpie's copy a few months ago... It certainly is a really nice book!
  17. I don't think the D60 has a focus adjuster for the view finder, so that option is out (some cameras allow you to adjust to your vision problems so that you don't have to wear your glasses). I wear glasses while using my camera with no problems. Can you describe what bothers you about the glasses? How funny, we postd at the same time, dispells my theory for her camera It might have it, but I had a look on the photos of the D60 and couldn't find the dial... Happy to be corrected though!
