I have mine all organised... She has been instructed to take lots of photos and video Seriously though, it is very good advice. I thought maybe we could make a list of everything you should take with you to the ET and everything you should take to the starting area for yourself and your dog. I'll start off with a few things and then I'll add everyone else's suggestions - I'll put it all onto the OP. To take to the ET: - The Dog! - Bike (if riding) - Helmet (if riding) - Running shoes (if running) - Appropriate size lead - Cycle computer (optional) - Cycle gloves (optional) - Water for you and your dog - Water bowl for dog - Your strapper/helper To have at the start line: - Water for you and dog - Mat for dog to lie on (optional) - Light treats for dog (optional) - Snacks for you (optional) -
Kja that is divine!

Have you tried paw wax? That can help give a bit of protection. -

Yep... Teach your pup how to learn and to love working with you and you shouldn't have a problem! As Bedazzled said, the foundation work is key! -

It's on the grounds of Morisset Hospital up on the Central Coast (they're wild). It's pretty amazing if you can get there - they tend to come out in the afternoon/evening. The roos just come up to you... Some were within arms length. These photos were taken with a 85mm and most are not cropped (well, except the roos fighting - I wasn't going to get close to that!!!!).

Don't worry answered my own question! Thats an old version of the rules! Would a 6' or 4' leash be fine then? I wouldn't go any shorter than 1.5m, so with those two options, I'd go the 6' lead. When I used it with Jedi, it allowed him a little bit of leeway in terms of where he could run in relation to the bike, but he could never go in front or behind it. And as the rules state, long enough to be held in either hand. I guess it all depends on the height of the dog, though. -

I used a 1.5m lead and it was fine. I'd say a 1.8m would be fine. -
Great shot, Bjelkier!
