  1. Well yes, Jedi is very special! But I guess I just wasn't really happy with them. The original of the first photo is this - my reflection in our entertainment unit doors! Then I put an infrared filter on it through PSP. I don't know which one I like better - the red or the black.
  2. My kees had one and I just put curash on it and then regularly dried it with the blower the next few days. Cleared up really quickly!
  3. Thanks - it's a fairly healthy cheesecake - no sugar and uses ricotta cheese.
  4. My photo from yesterday - was too busy to put it up.
  5. Don't worry about using a cue for poops and a cue for pee. Use the same word. If you want him to toilet in one area of the yard, yes restrict him to where he goes now. You can do this by putting him on a lead when you take him out to toilet or carry him back to the same area if he wanders off.
  6. We took Jedi and Ahsoka to the beach today... Jedi was VERY pleased to be allowed to run again! As was Ahsoka...
  7. So how did Bobby go last night???
  8. I've changed my mind. I'm using this one today as my 365 Days of Fluff photo instead... The weather changed late this afternoon and it much better lighting for photos!
  9. I used to set an alarm and wake my pup up to pee every 3 hours. Then I would just extend this time out longer and longer over the next few weeks. Of course if the pup was whining to get out between then I would also take them. When you buy your crate, make sure it is the right size for when Bobby is an adult (cute name by the way!!!!!!). A pup won't (usually) pee in his crate when it is just big enough for him to turn around and lie down in as a pup naturally doesn't want to pee where he sleeps. Now the size he will need at 10 weeks is obviously going to be much smaller than the size he will need as an adult, so you can either buy a crate that has a divider, or put a partition in there yourself using cardboard or a box or some perspex (or similar). Then as he grows, move the petition so that his space grows with him. He shouldn't pee in his area if this space is the right size.
  10. As what Huski said.. The sleeping is TOTALLY normal. As the pup gets older he will sleep less. A sleeping pup is a good pup! Try and be as regular as you can about taking him out to pee. He needs to be supervised all the time to make sure that he doesn't have an accident in the house, so don't let him have free run of the house or anything (I see that he's in a puppy pen, so that's good!). If you see him sniffing the ground or looking like he needs to pee (you'll get to know what that behaviour looks like), whisk him outside to the area you want him to toilet on. Don't play or make a fuss but once he pees celebrate like it's the BEST thing on earth! You want to make peeing outside a positive, happy experience. As Huski suggested you can also use a word for toileting, so that later on you can get him to toilet on cue - all you need to do is say the word when he's toileting (same word for pee and poop). The less accidents your pup has the faster he is going to learn. What's his name?! EDT - re: puppy pads, I'm not a big fan. The pups do chew them, they are expensive and you could just get away with newspaper if that's the way you wanted to go. Personally I crate my puppies at night and take them out to toilet every 2-3 hours at 8-10 weeks. As they get older they get taken out less and less. By about 12 weeks they were both sleeping through the night. There are lots of threads on crate training and a lot of info online... Some people don't like it, but a lot of people on DOL swear by it (including me!). It really helps with the toileting as the pup only learns to toilet outside, rather than getting confused with the sometimes inside on newspaper, other times outside on the grass.
  11. Nice one CM!! Loving all your B&W photos of Chester!
  12. She learned in 5 swims from the jetty with the lifejacket on, each time getting better. But she had been watching Jedi earlier so I guess that might have helped?! I would imagine it could and would take longer for other dogs.
  13. Geez, when Barkly gets wet, he gets wet!!!!!!!!
  14. My efforts from today. I had some great ideas for a shot today, but then found this skink in the yard.(well, Ahsoka found him...)
  15. Mine for the day... Boring Jedi photo Preying Mantis that Ahsoka wanted to kill! And another shot that I like
