  1. I ticked monthly, though for my keeshond he gets a bath only every couple of months. Ahsoka gets bathed more often for showing, but when we aren't showing she gets a bath about as much as Jedi.
  2. More boring dog photos!! I'm really not making a very good effort this month, but I was on holidays, so it made it a little difficult being away from home!
  3. Frozen motion... 3 1/2 week old finnish lapphund puppy!
  4. Love the blue in the background, Clover!! Very nice!! tlc - I had never been either! It was much smaller than Taronga (our local zoo) but it's open plain, so it was different!
  5. You definitely didn't kill the thread!! I feel like I have done that sometimes and then I realise that I post my photos up at midnight most of the time... so of course no one is going to post for a while!!!!!!!! Here's mine from today... A non-doggy shot! We went to Werribee Open Plain Zoo...
  6. Feel free to use any of my photos... There are over 1000 photos of dogs on there... http://www.flickr.com/photos/terranik/coll...57612134041026/ I'd love to see what you come up with too, if you decide to do Soaks or Jed!
  7. Rocco - love the facial expression!!!! We're on holidays at the moment with the dogs - so most of my photos are of them!! Jedi avoiding a bucket of leaves being dumped on his head!! Jindabyne Running around in our friend's yard Ahsoka herding our friend's sheep... The sheep were not impressed!!!
  8. Thanks... That was the 5th shot or so... It was hard trying to pour milk AND take the photo at the same time!! I spilled a bit...
  9. What's the method in the play dead ? Once he's in drop, where do you hold the treat to get him onto his side ? thanks ! You can lure him to lie onto his side (from drop position) with the treat to begin with, so that he rolls onto his side. Then put the treat on the floor next to his nose so he can get it while he's lying there.
  10. Nice one, Chezzyr!! I'm going to have another go at it, too!
  11. You can always exaggerate them in the beginning and then shrink them down. It's not a big deal, so don't stress too much!
  12. Took this on our walk last night... Not the best place for it, but convenient!
  13. I had to do this for one of my dogs - she's so quick to drop when she sees my right hand come out! I agree with dogdude - don't stress too much! Though if you are interested in seeing what signals people use - watch some YouTube vids or go to a trial and have a look. It's probably easier than someone explaining their signals.
  14. Some easy tricks Jedi learned around 2-3 months old - Dance (up on hind legs) Shy (paw over face) High 5 High 10 Wave Bow Weave through legs Roll over "Bang!" (roll onto side and play dead)
  15. Wow, DD that last one is cool!! Love all your other long exposures too!
  16. I have the Dremel Stylus - I love it! It's really light, easy to hold and cordless! AND I managed to convince OH that he needed to buy it for his use too, so he paid for most of it!!
  17. My dogs' teeth don't need brushing... They get bones and plenty of them. Does the trick and they both have perfect pearly whites!
