Luring The Kick Back Stand
TerraNik replied to Staranais's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I taught it by putting Jedi up on the grooming table and asking him to sit right on the edge (facing the edge). He had no choice but to kick back -
Toys = Chew, bite, tug, etc to your heart's content! People = No go zone!

Do You Go To Dog School In The Rain?
TerraNik replied to JulesP's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Agility is usually called off here if it's raining... The ground gets so soggy so fast, it gets closed by the council! I used to go to obedience training in the rain though... But we don't train at a club anymore. -
All my shots are done with my mini-maglight.

I really like the 3rd shot of Cooper, tlc!!

A bit of a play on words... Looks much better in the full size version!
-
Well now you've found a use for it Shell!!!!
-
The light bulbs and the camera shots are using a mini-maglight with the tip screwed off (so you can see the globe) and holding it vertically with the bulb pointing downwards and moving it around. The first camera shot was not done this way, but my second camera shot and the light globe shots were - it works much better.

A few shots from me today... I couldn't decide! Jedi fell asleep next to the tripod, so I had to take a shot!

Thanks tlc! Have a go, lic! I feel way out of my league a lot of days... But many of us are beginners and everyone is very supportive! It's a lot of fun!

Here's mine for today.. On a side note, I saw a Ralph look-a-like today walking from uni! He was even wearing a camo jumper with a fluffy trim!!

You're right, Ripley! I am LOVING this month's challenge! I don't think I would have ever come across this technique and I am really enjoying doing something a little different!

Last night was a big fail. I know what I was doing wrong now and will have another go tonight. Hopefully I'll get it right!
