Hey guys, So for my next assignment at uni we've got to make a documentary on any topic of our choice. Typically I thought I'd like to do something doggie related. So far we were thinking of possibly following a rescue group and documenting what their day involves, interviewing volunteers, telling success stories of rehomed dogs etc. I was also considering doing something on BSL but i'm not sure if we'd have enough to film for that. Pet shop industry is also another idea but not sure how we'd go about filming in stores etc. But yeah, I was wondering if anyone had ideas? Also, if there is anyone in Brisbane that would be willing to participate in one way or another (possibly for interviews etc.), please let me know.

I had to do a 30 second silent film for an assignment and I gave Tyson a starring role. Thought doggie people might enjoy it. I'm not 100% happy with how it turned out, thanks to techincal difficulties plus having such a short amount of time I couldn't polish it off as nicely as I'd like. Either way it still gets the message across and Tyson did such a good job.

When I was a kid at a friends place I went to pat their dog under the chin and it gave me the evil eye and let out a realy low growl, my friend then told me noone could pat him under the chin because he hated it, everywhere else was fine.

URGH I had the same issue once when a mans two offlead dogs tried having a go at Tyson whilst he was on lead with me as I was went in to get some poo bags. The man acted like it was my fault saying 'it's cause your dog's on a leash, take your leash off your dog, you're supposed to take their lead off straight away in an offleash area' blah blah blah... D**khead I just got out of there, didn't even get a chance to get any bags.

How about something with.. Schwärze (german for black) or Noir (french for black)

Pixie does it as well, it's very cute. I'm not sure if it's the same with dogs, but i've been told when cats do that it's because they were taken from their mother too early.

Did it also. Kind of worrying the 'destroy straight away because of "suspected" threat due to size or breed' question.

I'm willing to look after one if it is dog and cat friendly.
