Yep how ridiculous! I wonder why the owner didn't learn they're lesson the first time and properly secure their dogs! Idiots!

I would think that is true but not boxer specific. As Rommi n Lewis pointed out it can happen to any dog that is predominately white.

There is no evidence to suggest that white boxers have any higher incidence of having cancer than any of the other colours in the breed. It is just a colour after all. Unless i've missed something? ;) Is there eveidence to back up your claim that white boxers are more susceptible to anything other than deafness? If there is i would like to see it.

I can't believe i missed Ivy's birthday! Happy belated birthday Ivy! She really is a gorgeous looking dog and not only that but she looks like she has the most beautiful nature too. Love seeing pictures of her!

Bomber is really pedantic about crossing roads properly! It is kind of hard to explain but If i am crossing a road and we are heading towards the gutter etc he will deliberately steer closer to a driveway so that he can get onto the footpath that way! Clearly he doesn't like to jaywalk!

Here's hoping that Hudson is doing well today. Just so scary, i can't even imagine how upset you must have been last night

Well when will i learn, if you don't check DOL daily you miss out! Haven't been on for a week and a half and have come back to see some post's from Jed! I can't tell you how much that makes my heart cheer, to know that you are on the mend physically even if it will take a while. The tributes to your puppers have been beautiful and have dragged more than a few tears out of me. I hope you continue to heal both physically and mentally and i hope that if there is anything that we as the DOL community can help you with that you will let us know.

Yep that is Bomber the boxer in my avatar. He is quite a tad bigger than that now though, and i totally agree that they are the best. But i would say that wouldn't i! Satin really is very adorable. I bet she gets lots of interest when you are out and about with her.

I think that could be Adelaide Hills Pet Resort? If so i think that's situated in Nairne. There is a company called Hounds at Home that i looked into for Bomber around Christmas time last year. They either look after your dog at your own home or they have people that welcome the dog into their own home. Phone number is 8337 6115. I believe they cover all of Adelaide.
