This is a dangerous thing to do. So many children get bitten on the face by the family dog because their parents allowed them to get close to a dog that is eating a bone. I'm not sure why you are here? You ignore what dog experts are advising and tell us you know better, even though you can't even train a dog not to jump. So you seem destined to repeat all the mistakes you made the first time, but with a dog that may be snappier and even more energetic. I feel sorry for the dog and your kids. You don't need to ask us what crate to buy, go ask at the crate shop where at least they are paid to deal with people like you.

According to my kids, our goldie is the colour of Honey (not cheese!! ). And thus she was renamed. :D She also is an absolute Honey in temperament. We adopted her aged 3 and changed her name from Morgan. Never had a problem. I sometimes think I should have called her Doris or Marilyn though, cause she can be a bit of a dumb blonde. I like funny old fashioned names for Goldies, like Roger, George, Eddie etc OMG, I just came across this funny men's names website- might help, or at the very least it's funny. I met a Golden Retriever called Eddie on Monday! He was so adorable and probably the most laid back 7 month old dog i have ever met! I wanted to steal him! :D

well i think not giving back $1500 would be very unfair. and as people have said above, fine I could always take the dog then and re-sell on the trading post.... I hope you were saying this tongue in cheek? Why should a baby puppy possibly end up suffering just because you changed your mind? Might be an idea to speak to the breeder and see what they have to say? They may well refund your money and my guess would be that they would.
