every symptom that is listed for it fits exactly to what he has...and also the build up to it him deteriorating (this was my own research of course after i was giving the dianosis-which until now i had never heard of) but on the second visit to the vet she had him a day and night to run tests and keep a closer eye on him and when i went back to get him she said thats what it was..and thats honestly all i know so far i'm meeting with her tomorrow morning again for more discussion he has been eating which is apparently a good sign but his physical movement has gotten alot worse to the point he cant lift his own body off the ground without assistance. and once up he just lays straight back down

i have a ten week old koolie puppy just diagnosed with polyarthritis. it started as a pretty severe stomach virus so we thought.... and my vet (who is fantastic) gave him antibiotics and a day into them he appeared to be making a fantastic recovery1 the next day tho he turned off his food again and was not able to walk properly and had developed the shakes. i took him back again and i was so shocked to be told my gorgeous ten week old had poly arthritis. i was sent home with pain killers, flagyl and antibiotics and he is due to go back tomorrow. unfortunately today he is unable to stand up at all and has been eating his food lying down its killing me to watch. my vet hasn't spoken much to me about treatments or likely outcomes and im hoping someone out there can help me. we are terrified... we love him so much even though we have only had him 11days ..we had our eye on him for weeks prior. we are up for what ever it takes.. so please if anyone could help please contact me thankyou
