Dont let the cuteness fool you lamo I walked downstairs this morning to have her HANGING off my pants cos she merely wanted attention. we currently have another Lakie here atm and the two of them have teamed up to terrorise the other 3 breeds of the house.. my poor border collie who rules the roost here is feeling very uncertain of himself lol! All good she makes up for devilness in intelligence, Im starting to foundation work her atm for agility she is such a keen little bunny.. Sounds just like our girl, our boy on the other hand is so laid back for a Lakeland - it's bliss!

I board mine at "Merrybark" (owned by Showdog and her Mum) but I would imagine they'd be booked out. Have also used Danzalin which is a bit bigger.

The feeding guidelines is at the upper end of the scale. Almost everyone ends up feeding less, as they see their dogs respond very well to it. There is no need to add veggies. That's the great thing about Complete Mix, with meat and bones it makes up a total diet. The 'output' is certainly more than a dog fed dry food, but that is for a reason, the expansion of the sphincter muscle and emptying of the anal glands. What you will find that they disintegrate very quickly. Thank You, I will have to watch our boys weight as he seems to gain easily whereas the girl could do with a little extra. How long can it be kept in the fridge once mixed with water? I usually leave it out overnight then refridgerate it but I would like to mix a few days worth at once.

I've used VAN in the past as an alternative to adding vegetables. When I tried it on our boy who we adopted last year I was a bit alarmed at the amount of 'output' so haven't used it for a while. I realise the VAN contains roughage which increases the output but how do I know when it becomes excessive? How many of you using it give the amount recommended on the packet - my dogs are 7.5kg & 8kg and the amount seems huge - I usually give about 3/4's and even that seems a lot? Do any of you still give veggies as well as the VAN?

That looks great Liz. Where did you get it? :) Have you looked on e-bay? We bought one from there that you can add extra panels to to fit a wide space.

So how do they know the RSPCA is investigating before they get there? Thought they said they had handed it over to the council why cant the council get a complaint and shoot on over there ? Nup I need more evidence than this - whether or not they have an ABN doesn't interest me either. Apart from the fact the inspector told me himself .......it also states it on the RSPCA WA facebook page ........not sure how things work with the RSPCA over where you are but last time this place was raided it was one of our group that took the dogs in and had to attend with our dog trailers to transport them .....the rangers and RSPCA were there .......but didn't take any of the seized dogs into their care . I don't live that far from Bakers Hill and am horrified to hear about this puppy mill. Happy to sign the petition.
