Oso, I bought thr freeze-dried K9 Natural to try a couple of weeks ago. I was really surprised how runny it is when reconstituted - not what I expected at all. The suggested quantity also didn't look very much and my dogs are only 8 & 9kg so I added a bit of extra meat to it.
The dogs however seemed to enjoy it and scoffed it down. I'll use it for when I forget to defrost meat or don't have quite enough but I don't think I'll use on an everyday basis.
I could make some up and take a photo of it if you like.

Thats great, my OH got a 650D to use with his telescope, it's a great camera, I've used it as a back up at a couple of shoots I've done with the 50mm on it. Love the touch screen, didn't take long to get used to it.
I have inadvertently switched on the 'touch shutter' function a couple of times and wondered what was going on

Drumbeat which Canon did you end up getting? Are you enjoying it?
I had a 600D which was stolen so replaced it with a 650D - I'm very much an amateur :D With the cashback the upgrade only cost me $44 so worked out well.

If anyone is planning to buy a new camera Canon currently has a cashback offer on the 650D, 5D and 6D for purchases made between November 5th and January 31st.
I wasn't sure if they would allow mine as it was part of an insurance claim but I've just heard it's been approved which is great.

I read your posts in another thread where you mentioned losing Grumpy and just wanted to send my condolences.
He sounded such a character - RIP old man.

So sorry to hear of this awful tragedy - my heart goes out to you.

bMarch flies dont like the colours red, yellow or orange. They are attracted to dark colours and also especially like blue. I know you said you dont want to cover them but perhaps a light jacket or tshirt in one of the colours they dont like, or perhaps the bedding they lay on outside could be red or yellow, maybe even just a bright red collar would deter them.
Well I was wearing an orange top yesterday and the ****** were biting me , they don't seem to bother my dogs but they've both got a lot of coat at the minute.

He's just gorgeous. If I see a young black Great Dane around Perth would I get arrested if I dashed up to the owner and asked if they were Hotfurball??

I had the 600D until it was stolen recently. I'm a very amateur photographer and I found it very easy to use especially on the auto settings.
After a lot of indecision I've decided to replace it with the 650D as it has a couple of night programs I think will be useful.

Has Mason Gibbs stopped posting or has she changed her name?

Hope you're having the first of many happy nights together

Beautiful gapvic, looks like your hard work is paying off, what a lovely spot :D
The gardens are one of the things I really miss from the UK, especially here in Perth - not too much gardening here in the sand
This was one of the last places I went in the UK before moving over here, a stunning garden :)
You need to visit the hills CC, plenty of gardens up here. Have a look at the Open Garden website for WA.

It's gorgeous.
Excuse my ignorance but what is the tree/bush with the pink flowers??

Are you sure you would want to stay in UK?
Hubby made plans to move over there with his cat a few years ago (before I met him), but because of the quarantine thing he decided against it. Then the cat died and he went over for 6 months, or that was the plan, but after 3 months he was so miserable he decided to come home. It's a different culture, people aren't as friendly as here, they whinge a lot, the weather is miserable a lot of the time, and even though he had friends and family over there he was so miserable he ended up not even wanting to leave his flat most of the time.
So unless you've been over there before and know you'll really like it, or if you're only staying temporarily anyway, I might send the dog off to live with family for a bit while you get settled in. The dog doesn't travel on the same plane as you anyway, so it doesn't matter what flight she's on.
What a load of crap, have you ever actually lived there?
We took our dog to the Middle East a few years ago and he travelled on the same flights as us.
Take your dog with you; you will both have a ball in UK! It is so much more dog friendly than Aus. You can take your dog in the pub, into the restaurant, on trains & buses & there are many more places offering accommodation for holidaying with your dog than in Australia. Plus there are no snakes!
All of Europe is incredibly dog friendly, seeing a dog sitting in the restaurant of a 5 star hotel takes a bit of getting used to.

The Lakeland Terrier is pretty cute, shame there's only the one design though.
Might get my bro to forward it from the States for me.

Great news, your story has made my day :)

I think this might be the dog Willow is referring to

I have sent them an email and it looks like they might have someone coming to look at her on Saturday
A bit OT but if she was rescued form a shelter how is she unsterilised - I mistakenly thought all dogs were sterilised before rehoming?

Renae - what a gorgeous girl

Thank you Cavstar ! :D
Your Miss Lucy is gorgeous too! Hope you have many happy and healthy years with her
Completely off topic but it's lovely to see you on DOL Jules, so many nice people don't post anymore.

I've been buying the Big Dog patties since B,P&G started stocking them instead of Dr B's. My dogs love them but then they're not particularly fussy.
I keep a stock in the freezer to use if I forget to defrost their ordinary meat or make up the VAN mix or just for a bit of variety.

Lovely photos Monah, so nice to see you back on DOL.
