  1. Bump ;) . Sorry if my post wasn't clear. I wanted to do a poll but couldn't figure it out . My question was do you use a combined heartworm/intestinal wormer or do you use a seperate heartwormer and intestinal wormer. Thanks .
  2. Are you complaining about dogs barking ? It's a pretty normal thing for dogs to do when they see a dog wallking past.
  3. I use to use Interceptor but have changed to Valuheart and the three monthly intestinal wormer my thinking it's less drugs in the system. Just wondering what other people do.
  4. mirawee nice choice of dog name I have a Banjo to .
  5. I may just spend my time watching people doing agility/jumping practice runs! I think you should enter What, for entertainment? Do you have to be a CAWA member to enter it? I don't think you have to be a member. It's just $2 a go. It starts at 7pm. Ptolomy and Bedazzled wrote an article about it in the canine news. Didn't you read yours RubyStar :D :D .
  6. Yep it's a practice trial :D . This one has obedience, jumping and agility. It's being run by the ACWA to raise money for the nationals.
  7. I don't think Banjo will be coming to the show'n'go this Saturday. He had a grass seed dug out from in between his toes yesterday and it's pretty sore poor bugger.
  8. The new club house looked almost finished when I was there last week for the show 'n' go. You're right they're not doing agility until it's built but it shouldn't be far off .
  9. Midland Dog Training has beginners agility but your dog would have to be 12 months old because they don't have the puppy class like the ACWA. Midland has obedience Tuesdays and agility/dances with dogs Thursdays. :D
  10. I was told Perth Dog Training still has flyball equipment, although if they do it would be the old style box. WA had the first flyball team the K9 Flyers, so it's weird we're now the state without it .
  11. I get confused between the two when I see a leggier Aussie which look like the working Borders.
  12. Isn't it just the sweetest thing when the oldies 'train' the youngsters . My old boy Buster has been through two puppies now and even with the youngest being 2 he's still a pain in the butt but Buster is so sweet with him.
  13. If you want quality Australian made collars I love Windchill and Black Dog. Windchill http://www.windchill.com.au/collars.htm Black Dog http://www.blackdog.net.au/index.php?page=...rt&Itemid=5
  14. I video with my little digital camera so just have to upload it to Quicktime then onto YouTube. I'll hopefully get a proper video camera one day.
  15. Hopefully we can keep this thread going. I've loved watching everyones videos . I train alone so it's good to watch and learn . Here's one of Banjo in the early stages of rear end awareness training. http://www.youtube.com/user/Tiggystaff
  16. I don't know how you find the time to do so much Ptolomy .
  17. I'm such a neat freak I think I'd have a nervous breakdown if I had all that dog hair floating around :D :D .
  18. I train for 5 to 15 minutes at a time and I use tiny tiny treats of meat/liver/cheese etc. What sort of training are you doing? 1 hr is a really long time for a training session or do you mean out on your walks? I just use treats for recalls on our walks.
  19. I love this clip for teaching rear end awareness. Winnie is so cute :D .
  20. Banjo loves it when I bring the phone books out to .
