I those who do both. I think I'd have a nervous breakdown .

I was lucky to go to a Sue Hogben seminar. Learnt more that day than I ever did at a club. Since then I've been training on my own but I'll probably start back at Midland for the distraction training and to work on SFE and stays, plus I think the DWD classes would be fun . I'm not doing the hour long class though.

The Patty Ruzzo dvd covers heeling. I highly recommend it .

I dont know why but I just cannot put any wet slimy food into my pocket, think its my OCD streak :D I was the same but you just have to take the plunge , it's really not that bad I promise, and from a trialing point of view it's best to train without a treat pouch.

I don't agree with that. I used these ropes to train horses, neither the horse or myself ever had a rope burn or any injury. The rope is lovely on the hands. I've had the gripper leashes and they're really rough on the hands. Give me rope any day.

My two worked great today. Sophie is real close to being trial ready, the only thing is I noticed today after it was mentioned in another thread that she sometimes nudges my hand , I might have to hold my hand up at waist height. Poor little Banjo was working beautifully then he got a bit weird, I was wondering why then noticed he was doing a poo .

I assume from watching Patty Ruzzo that in the US you can either have your left arm at your side or at your waist. I tend to hold mine lower at my hip, I have short dogs . I also noticed watching Patty Ruzzo that there hands have to be at their sides for recalls , like our way better.

I asked my Dad(he's a computer nerd ) and he said if you take the hard drive to a computer shop they might be able to recover what was on it but he's not sure what they'll charge. As for getting a new one he said they're all pretty much the same. When I first read the 'I have issues at the moment' I thought it was dog related and thought it can't be Brooklyn he's too perfect .
