My club is cancelling obedience classes due to lack of interest and instructors . The agility has a big turnout but the obedience class was only 5 or less people. I can still go and obedience train on my own though but it's nice to train with other people sometimes.

It's freezing here to. I love my reverse cycle heating - so do the dogs .

I'm up to my 4th Coles store and they've all been freezing and I work in the bakehouse so I can't wear long sleeves .

The nice 'place' isn't mine, it's across the road from me . I sometimes train on the road out the front because it's a no through road and we're the last houses. A lady walked past while I was setting the camera up and she said this looks interesting, how embarrassing ;) .

Thanks bedazzled . I remember in classes people getting told to walk faster, can't say I ever had that problem .

My doggies wubba died on Sunday, it lasted two months which is pretty good for three dogs, I want a pink one .

That's so cute shoemonster . Banjo's trick is opening the screen door and letting himself and the other two in the house when he wants to .

I have videos :rolleyes: . I still cringe watching myself but I remember the first video I did and omg my handling was pretty awful so I can see an improvement. Does it look like I'm walking too fast? It doesn't feel too fast but watching it back I look like I'm racing around . I forgot about the recall question

It's a good idea to enter the figure 8 to the left(dog on the inside) to keep them close but there's no rule which way to enter. I think when you leave the figure 8 you just keep walking on the path you were on as the Judge will ask you to lead out as you're walking straight across the figure 8.

Yep breaks are good - you'll find you're real motivated to get back into it after a break.

RS K9 Pro have the leather tugs. The Dman tugs I got are pocket size ones for obedience only $6 each and I got three freebie tugs to . They make longer thicker ones to and they're always a good price.

Can't wait for the video! I've seen Sophie heel, she is very good! It would be a shame to give obedience away ;) Thanks RS . I do love obedience, probably more than agility , I'll keep at it plodding along at my own pace . I wish I could train with you guys at Canine , maybe I should make the hike I think it would be worth it, that's if you don't mind me joining you ;) .

I trained Sophie out the front today - hope the neighbors weren't watching . Her heel work deserves a big I think it's pretty special . It was great distraction training out the front because before we started she was looking for kitty cats but once she was working I had her total focus so I'm pretty wrapped with her . Poor Banjo wasn't happy she got to train and he didn't but he's limping so no playing for him I said. I might even video Sophie but no promises .

Have to get in quick to get Dman tugs . Keep an eye on her thread in the member market place. The furs ones I got were for sale last week but they sell out pretty much on the day she puts them up.

Dman tugs sell rabbit fur tugs. I just got some new ones today.

I asked for the day off ages ago but my manager has quit and I've had to step up until they find someone else and I can't leave the young kids alone at work on Saturday and as usual we're under staffed so it's left to me .
