mmm that is a long time. I work Saturdays at the moment, I've been thinking about it and I do like working Saturday and having a Sunday/Monday weekend so still deciding if I want to change that for something I might give up on .

I remember someone saying it was closing down so I guess someone took it over. Hopefully the product doesn't suffer.

RS what have you done . I'm obsessing about tracking now . I was looking on the Victorian tracking clubs website and a Stafford won track and search dog of the year this year and last year tracking dog of the year . I just have to try and get out of working Saturdays .

I don't see you as a quitter I want to go to the open day and if I like it I'm going to tell my work I can't work Saturdays for 6 months of the year . I don't know if everyones dogs do this but Banjo tracks where I've walked, like from the car to the letter box etc, so I'm thinking he may have some talent .

Mine have had a holiday all year

Over summer I'll be working on agility foundation stuff, maybe get around to watching my training dvds , socialising little Bear and I want to finally make up my mind whether or not I want to trial in obedience and if I do pull my finger out and get Banjo ready to trial in CCD next year I need this .

I am hoping to do the ET next year too, we'll see if I actually get round to training for it I am also going to try tracking :D So I'll see you there! I want to do the ET with Bear when he's about 4 . I'm depressed I haven't done anything on my wishlist :D . I can't do tracking cause I work Saturdays ;) .

Only when he knows I have food on me. He's a great tugger otherwise . I just attempted to start shaping it, clicking and treating for his mouth touching the toy, then his mouth on the toy. Edited to add he was a mad tugger at agility training and I had food on me then.

Okay I have a problem . I'm attempting to teach the tug/out game - so tug, give for a food reward, then tug again but if Banjo knows I have food he will not tug. I acted like a total idiot trying to get him interested in the toy but it's not happening. I tried it with the pup to and I got two tugs from him but again I had to work real hard to get that. Does anyone else have this problem? I think bedazzled shaped it with Brookie I remember reading.

I bought two of the Savic brand crates from Puppy Power and I'm really happy with them I'm going to buy two more in the next size down to take to dog training. The Vebo crates are cheap and would be fine if you have them set up at home all the time but I find them really hard to fold back down so wouldn't use them for training/trials.

Are you doing obedience with her? I love Goldies in obedience, they look so pretty .
