Tips Needed On Blocking Off Grass Area From The Dogs
Tiggy replied to RubyStar's topic in General Dog Discussion
If you're looking for new tree ideas my favourite is this one. Hopefully someone can help with the name cause I'm not sure. It get's yellow flowers. It does drop leaves and flowers once or twice a year but I love it, it's so pretty and real shady for the dogs. This isn't the best photo but the first one I could find before work this morning. -
The road works don't affect me. Which way are you coming from?
-
I have two. The Staffords like them but Buster the big dog doesn't because it is puffy and makes a noise . My dogs don't chew their beds when they're inside the house anyway so can't help with that either sorry.

I don't have gundogs . I was just wondering where it was held since I live in the area. Is it at the Polo grounds, I walk my dogs there all the time. I've seen a group of Labradors at the river near there, retrieving bumpers.

I have done. I'll be back this year for proofing so we're trial ready . http://www.midlanddogtraining.com/

Where abouts is the retrieving in Guildford held?

You're the same age as me RubyStar .

I go to Swan Veterinary Hospital to and yes George Huber is the best .

I just remembered the stupid thing is you have to have the third dog before you apply for the three dog permit.
-
My council is the City of Swan and I know you can apply for a three dog permit, there's an application fee of $100 odd. I'm in South Guildford so only five minutes from Bassendean but I'm not sure if Bassendean is the same council.

I must admit I bought some dried horse treats once and felt terrible about it. -

I can't bring myself to feed horse . I had horses for years and I love them. I just don't like not knowing where the meat came from. -

I had a lilac at my old house and it had been cut the same, which is a shame, such a nice tree when left alone. I just had Buster at that house and he did eat the berries but definetly not in large amounts just the odd one and he's a piggy dog so they can't taste too nice. He use to pig out on the chinese apples though. -
Thought I'd post this link to this cool poo pouch I just ordered . http://thirstypets.com.au/index.php?main_p...dex&cPath=2

What "supercharged" Treats Do You Use To Train With?
Tiggy replied to Marnifer's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Just put liver or tuna in a food processor, mix with enough flour to make it like a bread dough, I add egg and garlic to, then spread it out on baking paper about 1cm thick and bake in a low oven until cooked . I used plain flour so it stayed about 1cm thick which was perfect to cut up into training treats. -

I use kangaroo sausages, liver, liver bread, tuna bread, cheese, tortellini, that's all I can think of for now . I've trained my three the whistle recall and even Sophie who isn't a dog that stays close and checks in like the boys is coming back on the whistle. -
Raw Food /non Kibble Feeders

Decide if you want to feed BARF or Prey Model or like me a bit of a combination. I feed meat, bones, offal, fish and eggs. The Tom Lonsdale book 'Work Wonders' is a good investment. -
It's in Brigadoon. It's on Cathedral Ave, right up the end past the State Equestrian Centre. It's only 10 minutes from Midland. Best to go after we've had some rain .

You're a lucky duck . We don't have Rally-O in Perth yet but hopefully soon .

Thanks polomum . I'll have to take more photos after summer when it's all nice and green again and the rapids are flowing.
