Hi Tanya, if you are a registered breeder with a Prefix, you can pay to become a member of dogzonline, ( if you go to the Dol homepage you will find the link there ) then as a member , you can list your litter on Dol, aswell as list your dogs profile here too.

Thanks - so now all bull breed cross dogs could be identified as SBT crosses. Not saying if they are or if they aren't, but if enough people think, oh gotta avoid the P word to save all the cross bred bull breed dogs then all they're doing is dropping ANOTHER breed into the same situation. Crossbred dog - didn't see the mating, don't have the DNA proof of parentage - don't know the cross is a more sensible answer IMO That's pretty much what I did for that section....I'm don't like to guess what's in a cross breed, there could be anyting in them, I ticked I don't know for most of them. I think I got 90% right for the pure breed section...I wish they would let you know how many you got right. I agree too many Bull breed types, & I'm not too knowledgeable with Bull breeds.

Bitch In Whelp - Placed Away From Home
Baileys mum replied to twoblackdogs's topic in General Dog Discussion
Personally I would be sending the bitch back to the breeder. -
That's a bit of a coincidence popsical, because the guy who served me yesterday said he breeds cat's too. He seemed very knowledgeble & was also very friendly. It might be the same bloke that works in both stores...maybe he owns or manages both stores.

I was just wondering if they are just opening in Victoria & QLD at the moment or are they in other states too?
-
My hubby made ours...he made it out of melamine bought from Bunnings. Total cost about $80.00. He made it 1m x1m x 40cm high...which is probably a little big for my breed, but it's a good thing he did make it a little bigger, as my bitch has had 2 very big litters. I put a heat pad in the corner of it, I use a vet bed for bedding & the room they are in is heated too.

That's interesting Nekhbet, I wonder why Melton doesn't sell pets?...Do the other stores sell puppies & kittens or smaller pets? I hope this store doesn't start selling them or I will be going back to buying online for all my pet stuff. It does. I was there on the weekend and they sell birds and fish. I popped in for the first time on the weekend. It didn't look bad, but I didn't find anything I would consider buying. Doubt I'll go back. As I said in another post, I was there yesterday & there was not one animal for sale in the store, which is why I thought they didn't sell pets...another poster has said that she overheard the staff saying they had sold out on small pets & where ordering more, that are due in a couple of days. After reading all the responses in this thread ..I'm afraid I probably won't be going back either.

Your probably right...the guy that served me yesterday looked to be in his 40's & was very helpful & friendly. I wonder how long he will last there before being replaced by a teenager.
-
The people that work in the Melton store where extreamly friendly & helpful....I don't know if this is because the store is still fairly new & there trying to keep new customers, or if the staff in Melton are just genuinely nice.
-
Wow that's amazing...I can honestly say there was not one animal for sale or even a hint of an animal when I went in yesterday. The only animals in the store was my Bailey & another customer with their dog If that's the case then unfortunately I won't be shopping there again, which is a shame because they do have a good range there.
-
That's funny I didn't see any animals in there yesterday.
-
I have been to the Melton store as well. Not 100% sure about the freshness of their Ecopet but they have a great range of products. Bobby was groomed a fortnight ago and Mr Tiddles is booked in on Friday. The grooming seems pretty good. Might bump into you in there one day....I brought Bailey in there with me yesterday, so if you ever see a woman in there with an Aussie terrier it could be me. I would love to see some pics of your Aussies all nicely groomed.

We just recently got one of these stores in Melton ( built right across the rd from the Melton petstock ) I went in it for the first time yesterday & it seems pretty good....It is a pet suppy store, Vet & grooming salon all in the one buiding. The man that served me also said they also do work shops in pet care like grooming ect... He also gave me a 10% VIP card. I wonder if they will take business away from Petstock. Our Petstock sells birds & small animals like rabbits...where this new store does not sell any animals at all. Does anyone else have one of these stores near them? What do you think of it? & has anyone used their grooming & Vet services.

I voted NO....I like to keep in contact with my puppy buyers for updates & photos, aswell as giving them ongoing support & advice, so having a good relationship with my puppy people is very important to me. I think if I felt uncomfortable with someone or personally clashed with them in anyway then a good relationship with them might end up being diffucult...so no I don't think I could sell them one of my puppies.
-
Hi Tanstaff ...I think both dogs are gorgeous, but I have to agree with the other posters & say that if they don't have papers proving they are purebred, then unfortunately they could be anything.
-
If they received a malicious PM they can report it to the forum owner Agree the OP should report the PM to Troy.

Great idea.

Maybe you should have thought it through before starting this thread...Did you seriously think you would get sympathic replies from the Dol community after admitting what you said to this poor lady?? Of course Most posters where going to say you where rude...I also disagree with you saying that everyone's comments to you are just as bad, I don't recall anyone in this thread swearing at you. I don't think it was right for anyone to PM you to tell you to give up your dog...just because you are rude to someone doesn't mean you are a bad dog owner.
-
I was just thinking the exact same thing raz...there was no need to be so rude to the lady, I'm sure she was just being concerned for the health of your puppy.

Australian Terriers go any where between $600 to $1500...average price is about $800
-
I give up, it looks like the Australian terrier is not meant to be on this list, it keeps getting left off. Thanks Naomi for putting it back on again.

You left out my dogs...Australian terrier : Bailey, Brandy, Jasper
