  1. Dont agree with this. Usually if they don't want a treat that means they are unwell ! Well that tongue definitely proves there are some pei there
  2. i dont have that problem as I never delete photos. probably why my computer runs so slow. I do have Lightroom 2 but would like to be able to do more. I had tried a trial version of Photoshop but it confused me too much. I would like to get Photoshop Elements again though as I had had that on my PC and liked it.
  3. Me too. I had a look at a photography forum and it was pretty much half and half bout which was better - Aperture or Lightroom. I am curious as to what Dolers think though. I use iPhoto to store photos (which i think also has the best red eye reduction of any program I have used) so i dont think the transition would be hard. But I do like some of the things Lightroom does and wonder how they compare. Aperture is a whole lot cheaper too.
  4. Has anyone tried Aperture (the Apple photo editing program)?
  5. If this is what you are after I have found Barkers in Balance to be good. We did different levels of obedience at Williamtown, but I think there are other locations. Hillsborough seems pretty good though if you want something ongoing.
  6. It's interesting how you insult people and are terribly condescending yet think everyone is ganging up on you like a lynch mob.
  7. That's because they usually aren't pit bulls at all
  8. But if they are double their weight chances are they are too overweight too chase anyone. Why did you bother quoting the standard if you are so dismissive of it?
  9. So was the SBT. Aphra asked about the evidence that suggested they were a danger to the public. Wrong again. Facts aren't a biggie here obviously. Oh dear, how about you put the condescension aside until you learn a bit more about the history of the breeds mentioned and the reasons for their banning? The SBT had more "fighting" heritage than the other breeds cited. So the reason you gave is just more waffle. The SBT, as a breed, has been never bred for the pits. And that's a fact jack. Be careful, do some research before you blunder on any farther. Edit. SBT's aren't a banned breed....yet. Maybe you should read up on your own breeds history as I can't understand why their clubs websites would lie you also could stop insulting everyone and treating them like idiots, read up on the new Vic legislation and present some actual facts It's one thing to support BSL but insulting everyone when you obviously don't have all the facts is something else. How about listening to what people are saying instead of trying to be a smart arse troll SBTs are restricted in some areas of the US...and no, I'm not talking about amsatffs though they are too
  10. Good grief, The much lamented 26 point plan has been around in Qld for well over a decade. Of all the states in Australia, Qld has been the most ruthless, & most criticised, destroyer of pit bulls for the longest time. It is hard to imagine anyone in Qld would take on a dog of the "type", sans documentation to the contrary, without knowing the danger they were putting the dog in. they aren't talking about QLD..they are talking about the standard that VIC has recently implemented which is very vague and could include a number of not pit bull breeds. Have a look at it. are you actually reading posts or just being argumentative and insulting?
  11. oh dear. That is one stunning puppy. Love the floppy ears and blue eyes. Will his eyes stay that colour?
  12. ha...was going to suggest you ask Peiradise people but theyve beaten me to it. I should go to QLD one week and we could have a pei meet one day and a 'dale one the next ...or better yet - all together! wish we had fenced in parks here
  13. What sort of response is that? This lady is just trying to live quietly with her dogs and is not bothering anybody. It is disgraceful for an elderly lady to be subjected to that and to be told to get rid of the dogs to appease others cultural beliefs in her own community. That is just not acceptable. I suggest she contact her local member and complain. Perhaps they can arrange a representative of the culture concerned to speak to these people about tolerance. I would still be contacting the Police and asking for these incidences to be recorded........also alot can depend on which Officer you talk to. Don't know if it would be worthwhile trying to speak to a different officer? That's it a pretty poor response.
  14. Doh? Should have went and had a look then. Thanks.
  15. Does anyone know if training is cancelled if there are shows on?
  16. Sorry, but are you saying that if you have the student one it can't be upgraded? Don't have PS but if that is the case it is probably the same with Lightroom
  17. I think the first one is lovely. I think the second one is nice too, but distracts too much from the flowers. They are pretty - are they proteas?
