why? so innocent dogs can be put down? Have a read of some other threads - bsl doesn't fix the real problem - which is irresponsible ownership. Other breeds have been involved in attacks, they just don't get the media hype. Plus I rarely see them put the offending dog in the reports, just some random vicious pit bull. Most people wouldn't know a pit bull if they tripped over one. Lab x are often mistaken as apbt.

You know the foxes came from fur farms, right? How do you think they are kept there? yes, originally. It still does not justify keeping wild animals in that way. I am pretty sure they do not have the same animal ethics that we do. Also it is hardly research without benefit. they have learned a lot about genetics from it. The animals are not abused and I think it is better than them being killed just for their fur. There was an article about it in National Geographic earlier in the year. I thought it was very interesting. Some of the tame foxes are now pets in people's homes.

Surely if someone is doing the right thing then they have nothing to worry about. I think there would be a big difference between a happy healthy dog than an emaciated disease ridden one living in its own filth. What would everyone's solution be then to the puppy farm/byb problem?

This is insane. I have a phobia of parasites and cannot imagine letting your dog have maggots or that many fleas - i spy a flea or itching and treat straight away. It's not that hard! I don't really understand how they get maggots in the first place but I think I am pretty lazy but obviously not compared to some of these people...omg, the mind boggles... I am not sure I could be a groomer - I'd spend most of the time turning people away or reporting them.

I don't see what the big deal is about holding the muzzle, seems the safest thing to do to keep the dog from moving. I do the same when brushing I think I'd want to know if my dog is that badly behaved then I could work on fixing it. Though I am not sure how. That is revolting that dogs come in with maggots...surely that constitutes animal cruelty?

Sorry to go a bit OT, but I thought nooses and frames were standard procedure. Why are they so bad? Is it the risk if the dog jumps off the table or is there more to it?

Has anyone bought any lenses of Ebay? I have seen some ridiculously cheap ones from Hong Kong with free shipping to Australia. Some seem almost too good to be true and was just curious if anyone has good experiences or not.
