Probably, sorry. I hadn't heard of Blurb. Will have to look into it.

I got really annoyed trying to put together a photo book through Snapfish. It could just be my photos, but I couldn't get them to fit in the pages properly. I ended up doing it through Apple instead. I was very happy with the result. . I'd highly recommend it.

I feed the Grain Free Pure Sea as well. I have an Airedale and a Shar Pei. The Shar Pei has itchy skin which is why we switched to a grain free food. They also get a can of tuna once a week and a can of sardines as the fish is good for Shar Pei coat. They both get bones sometimes as well. They both are active (the Airedale more so) but no more or less than when they had Artemis or Holistic Select. The only problem is that the food sometimes makes the Shar Pei emit noxious gasses I have fed them All Life Stages and they did good on it as well, but no differently than anything else

Laidback is not really a word I would use to describe any Airedales. I don't really have any experience with Rhodesian Ridgebacks so I can't really say how two males would get along.
-
I think it is safest to go with a male and female, but there are quite a few people on an Airedale forum who have two males with no problems. The females I have met haven't been timid or snappy.

I have a male Airedale and he is not aggressive or dominating at all. They are very smart, but a bit special and like to do their own thing and play by their own rules, but some people have had success in obedience competitions. . You just need to find out what works best for your dog. They also have a lot of energy so most would probably enjoy agility eta - Airedales in sports - http://www.atansw.org.au/sports.htm

I feed my dog two heaping cups of Canidae Grain Free Salmon a day. I think this is more than is recommended, but he is very active and burns it off. He also gets a can of sardines once a week and a can of tuna. This is not necessary, but as it is good for my Shar Pei I figure the Airedale can have some too. He also gets bones every now and again. Some people feed RAW, but it is really dependant on the individual dog and what it does best on - just like any other breed. There can be multiple trainers as long as the training is consistent.

no one said that her wanting to spend time with her dog was awful. You are reading too much into it.

wow, Donatella, you've developed quite the attitude. Next time people have concerns which could prove problematic they should maybe keep it to themselves damn the consequences.

If she is in her crate she can move around, but with the diaper she can't escape the moisture, it will be just staying in one spot. As they are not made for dogs they may not absorb as well as they would for babies. Though if you are just going to do it for an hour hopefully that will be ok. It would be better though getting nappies specially made for dogs though. jmo though that is a good point about the insides going everywhere if you put a hole in them. You'd want to be careful your dog doesn't try and eat it Donatella, unless I am mistaken, dog nappies are usually only used when a dog is in heat. Baby nappies are specially designed for babies, not dogs who obviously have a different body structure and possibly different pH

Is that what the vet suggested? I would think a nappy would make a mess on the fur

You are not allowed to stop! ;) great photos -
I haven't had photo books done, but have seen someone else's and it looked very nice. I have had photo prints and calendars done and they have come out really good. They tend to be pretty quick too. Good to hear that the canvases are good too as I am thinking of getting some done.

I think it takes six months to take effect so during your break it may have lost its effectiveness and needs to build up again.

Huh, that is.... interesting. I suppose it's the 'teach a dog to bark so you can teach him to shush' philosophy, but I'm not a fan. I have dogs that pull on the jog to the park and not on the way back, and the way down I get much more of a sore back and calves than being able to jog at my own pace on the way back. I also had a trainer once who had huskies and said that taking them sledding made training a loose lead walk muuuch more difficult I agree tho that he seems to be taking this onslaught of passionate dog ladies on his FB and email quite well See I see some of his comments as feigning politeness more than actual politeness. Agreed. I am pretty sure he said he was going to take it down, but then he put it back up. Just to educate people so they don't get the wrong dog. His blindly devoted fans seem a bit odd as well - accusing everyone of hating just because they don't want their breed misrepresented I thought those doing so were being very civil I personally could not care less what some guy who was on some reality tv show some time thinks, but a lot of people do and as Sandra said it could have bad effects.

Pfft my "fighting breed" doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body and is in fact the friendliest and has the best manners of any dog I have ever met. Who is Farmer Dave and what makes him an authority on the subject?

i suspect he has been banned. He hasn't been back and the last thread he commented on has been deleted.
