  1. I can seriously get told the same things more than 50 times in a walk sometimes, if I go for a long walk in a busy area! "Who is walking who?" (despite the fact that he's usually sedately plodding along by my side at the time), "how much does it eat?", "got a saddle for it?". Sometimes these comments are yelled from passing cars or bikes. I always answer with a smile, but I probably put less thought into the answers sometimes. He does weigh a fair bit more than I do. :D
  2. I think I'm in love with Cleanrun. I decided I needed to order a couple more isqueaks. The pup's totally in love with them. I don't think I've ever seen quite that reaction to a new toy. He really liked the Cuz, until he met the isqueak, and now nothing else seems to compare. I'm not really sure what happened, but a few more things seemed to have made it to my cart before checkout? Then cleanrun got straight back to me, telling me the squeak should not have stopped straight away like that, and they are sending a replcement too.
  3. Reading through that, I suddenly remembered my GP warning me (kindly, knowing I have a dog) that the iron supplements she prescribed for me are toxic for dogs. I'd forgotten that though, even though they're always out of reach. My pup's never got hold of chocolate, but he did manage a poisonous berry as a pup. He was lethargic and I was worried, but the vet thought it was nothing to worry about, largely due to his size. One benefit of having such a large boy!
  4. Most people I know say the image stabilisers make a huge difference. You can definitely use a slower shutter speed (without needing a tripod) compared to when you have no image stabilisation. Some cameras have it in the body and others don't and you have the option of purchasing slightly more expensive lenses with the image stabiliser in the lens.
  5. If the squeak lasted and the rubber was like it used to be, the isqueak would seriously be the best toy ever! I wish I had one of the old ones with the better rubber. I suppose at least I have a quiet isqueak as an indoor toy now! We do like the water wubba too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMZURRPNw0E
  6. Someone had lots of fun pulling the labels off everything. But doesn't he make the Kong Wobber look small? They always looked so big in the shops!
  7. The rubber on my largest isqeuak isn't holding up that well. I don't think it will last that long. He still loves the way the ball squishes even without the squeak. So even with the less than fantastic rubber and the very fast dying squeak, I'm going to have to get more isqueaks. The squeak on the cuz is still fine and the rubber seems fairly tough so far. I really like the way the water wubba floats quite high too, and the pup loves to shake it once its wet. He's not very interested in the fantastic foam ball or the easy glider, but I think they will be handy and fun when out at the park. There are already a few big teeth marks in the kong wobbler, so I'm glad I didn't pay the crazy prices they sell for over here. He does really like it though (even without treats inside)! The kong ballistic is enough of a soft toy that after a few minutes of play, he wants to stand on it white trying to tear it. I'm sure it won't last very long either. He's a pretty happy pup allround today. Now just waiting on order number three, since the first two were combined.
  8. I'm sure you'll have tons of fun with it! So it was misprinted at a cheaper price than what they were actually selling it for? Do they not still have to honour the advertised misprint where you are? Even if not, I tent to think it's not very good customer service if they make a mistake in the customers favour, and then won't follow through.
  9. I really liked the squeak too, but see! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jgo4Hv1_NE0 He still loves it. It's his absolute favourite (so I'm still going to order another couple, but he really liked to drop it to make it squeak, so I wish that it squeaked for longer than a few minutes of play.
  10. My first lot arrived today and the pup was very happy! The isqueak was his favourite, but the squeak stopped working after about 3 minutes.
  11. I do too. I wish other cuz was coming back, or the rabbit with a million squeakers. I didn't get it because I was sure my boy would tear it within minutes. But now it's gone, I really want it! It must be a disease.
  12. I was about to say don't feel bad. Mine this morning were in New York, Jamaica New York, and Massachusetts. Just checked it now though and one is FINALLY in New Zealand! Hopefully yours is going to follow suit! Yay, I'm so Happy I got a large isqueak now! Looks great. Since mine is now in NZ I might have to go back for order 5! Someone should really stop me!
  13. I came to that conclusion too  Well, I replayed it right before going to bed a few times. I dreampt about trying to decipher the background voices. Oh dear!
  14. The pictures look great! Can't wait til I can afford the 70-200mm!
  15. Love it!! I needed to see some more pics too (so I don't die of some disease promoted by a serious case of impatience)!
  16. That sounds like they have registered it but not actually taken it to the post office yet. That's what I thought. It does seem to have been like that for a long time though! Particularly considering that they didn't ship packages until they had them in stock.
  17. Have you had a look at this comparison? http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-1100D-vs-Nikon_D3100 It gives you a feel for how some things like battery life compare. I've always used and like Canon cameras in the past, but I've decided to make the switch to Nikon for my next DSLR. At the entry level range you're looking at, both cameras will have a lot of good features and should keep you going for a while. If you really want to get into photography, you'll probably find it useful to invest some money into different lenses. I don't have experience with either of the two cameras, but the canon apparently has an autofocus motor, while the Nikon doesn't. An autofocus motor would mean that you could purchase older second hand canon lenses which will be able to autofocus, while the Nikon lenses would need to be the newer ones with build in autofocus. I'd recommend buying whichever one you prefer the feel of, as you might find you prefer the weight or size of one over the other.
  18. Does anyone else have a tracking number that doesn't work at all? I'm wondering if one of mine is actually on it's way, despite the fact that all the tracking number details still say are "the U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on October 31, 2012 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date".
  19. We've all been buying from the "what ships free" section, so we are not having to pay any postage. It makes many of the toys, like Kong products, very affordable! There are a few things I want from the rest of the site, but I decided to resist!
  20. Is it very weird, whatever it is. I was expecting something more...subtle.
  21. Well...I may have placed four. One was only one thing though! I'm still hoping I get mine in time for another order of all the best things.
  22. :D Thanks! I was hoping to do the same with my order. I want to make sure I have enough of the right things, and it wasn't worth doubling up on some things that he might rip apart really quickly. Oh and the pup does get the lion comment quite a bit. Also bear...sometimes pony.
  23. That would be my leonberger pup. He think he's pretty awesome. I'm immune to dog hair now too. I'm sure I could cope with anything after him!
  24. They all seem to have a life of their own once they leave cleanrun. My third order seems to have made it to MA, but the second one has remained stuck with the details "the U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on October 31, 2012 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS". Oh well. Hopefully they make it here eventually!
