  1. Beautiful shots. I suspect the subject helps a bit - what a gorgeous looking place. Stunning clouds. Your daughter looks naturally very relaxed and happy.
  2. It sounds like they were the perfect match, Pers. What a beautiful bond they had right to the end. I hope you are doing OK
  3. Our boys love K9 Natural. It doesn't rehydrate by itself very well so I squish it with a potato masher. I have tried a few foods in the past. K9 Natural is by far the most popular. It is expensive but works out ok for us as we also feed raw to the younger dog (old boy isn't interested in it). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the crumb like bits at the bottom of the box - it all rehydrates the same. AFAIK, it is only available in lamb in Australia atm but there are other varieties in NZ. Also, I don't know who is distributing it in Australia but it seems that they have not been that great for retailers to deal with. I am lead to believe they have been a bit tricky to deal with. I need to plan ahead and order a week in advance of when I need it because none of my local retailers hold stock.
  4. Hilarious! How on earth do you manage to stay still to take those pics? My sides are splitting just looking at the stills.
  5. Beautiful photos. You must be really happy with them. I don't know you're dogs but I reckon it would be safe to say that Ruth has captured their personalities really well.
  6. Is anyone able to explain HDR? I looked it up but the ecplanation confused me even more
  7. Lottie looks pretty chuffed with her new canvas too!
  8. I'm pretty sure it's a PBGV. Definitely right up there in the cuteness factor. My (growing, thanks to this thread) list is Lagotto, PBGV, dachshund, borzoi, spinone When I look at my list, I can't work out exactly what it is that I find cute as they're all so different. Edited to correct a rather unfortunate spelling mistake. I'm blaming the phone.
  9. Look at that determined spunk! I reckon it's pretty safe to say he's loving it
  10. I agree with Hortfuball in that you may have misinterpreted their message. They say to give them a call if you'd like more info. Why don't you give that a try? You might be pleasantly surprised.
  11. Those darstedly gremlins again. Guess it can't harm to bump this thread though!
  12. Poor Whip. I hope he finds his way home soon.
  13. Wow! Enjoy your new puppy. What are you getting? When we brought Tintin home, we expected him to be a bit unsure and overwhelmed by such a huge, sudden change in his life. We were so wrong! Like you, we got him from a couple of hours away so it was quite a drive for a little tike. He was so excited and so confident when we arrived home. He strutted around like he knew the place and us well. We didn't give him anything to eat or drink on the trip. He slept pretty much the whole way. He was pretty much toilet trained when he came home and asked to go outside from the start. Have a great time. There is nothing quite like watching a puppy as it learns about this big, wide world
  14. How heartbreaking. Am crossing everything for these two. I hope they can be reunited with their families.
  15. OT... The groomer thought your dog was a girl even AFTER grooming him? Did they miss something????
  16. I had tears as well as a smile at the end What a moving story. Thank you
  17. What a tough time for you. Thinking of you and your girl at this time.
  18. Great shots. I love looking at pics of dogs having fun. Puts a smile on my dial
  19. This is my old boy taken earlier this week. He is loving the sun in the mornings at the moment. He follows it around the house. Must be good for old man's bones. I thought I had better add the other boy in his favourite spot. From here, he can see pretty much everything and get to the action in a flash. This was taken the day before I decided that his beard needed trimming. It turned into a full head trim! Not very pretty...no favourite photos of Tintin for a while now, poor chap
  20. OK what on earth is going on????? DOL has turned into one big, massive, enormous ENABLER! I can't stand it any more I think OH will ban me Note to self "just look at the doggie bits and you'll be safe"
  21. What an amazing, heartfelt tribute. It is so obvious that you adored your two cats and that they adored you. So sad for all of you. I often stop and think about you and hope that you are doing OK. You have an amazing sense of humour and are a wonderful story teller. Lots of tears and laughter at your wonderful post.
  22. Any news Incavale? It would be so nice for the dog to go to a family who already own Lagotto's.
