Obedience is scary

CJ has been to the vet and he had a very good look at her. Said that her skin looks good and doesnt think it's mites or fleas. He said to start flea treatment, bathing her once a week with Aloveen and add flax seed oil to her diet.

PF vet didnt really say much about it, I going to make an app with him again this time be more direct with the problems if again nothing then im going to have to get on a wait list for the good vet. It's upsetting as I told my dad what would happen if he got her, the mum was a good warning sign well I thought anyway

Lablover she's from a backyard breeder and is a lab x golden. She's my dad's dog and despite me tracking down a good lab breeder he still got her, I went with him to point out all the things to watch out for and there were pleanty. The mum had sores all over her and a yucky coat!

I've got some Malaseb and will bath her tomorrow. Also got some Bonnie puppy only becuase Toby has had similer problems and since being on Bonnie working has stoped scratching and his coat looks great. SD so should I stop feeding her mince? This is a big part of her diet so what would be good to feed her? I dont just want to give dry food incase she gets board. I'll also stop giving it to Toby, as for treats when im training her I use Nature's Gifts, are they ok? Poodlefan I like that idea might be a bit hard now because I can see her ripping it off and she's always growing but i'll look around form old shirts.

Staffyluv at the moment she's on Advance, pedigree or puriona one depends on which food my parents are buying ( she's actually supposed to be my dad's dog ) and she has mince from IGA with this, should I change this?

My 13 week old puppy CJ is always scratching, she's been like this since we got her. Already she has patches on her stomach and chest. All the vet said was it was prop an allergy to something she'ss lying on and to keep upto date with flea treatments and bath twice weekely. When we asked what flea stuff to give a puppy he said not to worry until she's fully grown. We have been bathing her alot with flea shampoo and Aloveen but I didnt think bathing her this much was good for her, also bathing her heaps does nothing. What should I do to help her?

Thought I would update, CJ is fine still, running around like a loony is eating and drinking fine and poos look good. Will keep a closer eye on what she chews or gets into. Why is it pups know how to give you a hart attack!

Thanks Minimum that makes me feel a bit better, she's still runing around like an idoit as she does so that should be a good sign.

I've been talked out of ringing the vet but instead to just watch her. It's been a over an hour and there have been no signs thats something's wrong, she's still crazy, but im still watching her like a hawk.

I just caught our 13 week old puppy with one of those little packets that come from new bags and shoes, the ones with the little salt type stuff. There was still some in the packet and abit on the floor and I washed her mouth so hopeing she didnt swallow any. Should I be worried? Is this stuff toxic?

This might be a silly novice question, but with teaching the touchs with agility in mind should you only be focusing on the nose touch or both a nose and paw touch?

I would also like to know this since I want to do agility with my Lab x.

I feed Bonnie Working to my boy and im so pleased with it Since being on this Toby has stopped sratching and his coat has improved. I've fed him Eagle Pack Hol and Artemis in the past but Bonnie Working dog has been the best for my boy so far and it's easy on the wallet. But I also feed mince and vegies to.

This sounds like Toby, I just dont let him go up to strange dogs while he's on a lead, off lead he's fine. He knows if another dog is coming towards us or coming past us to go to heel.
