Yes they still do classes at the veladrome, my street is across from it so you would think it would be nice to live that close to an enclosed area but everytime I go there doesnt seem to matter what time it is that same group are always there, im starting to think they just camp out there for the day! I think I know which school your talking about, the primary school in patten st? Im just going to put my foot down from now on, anytime an off lead dog rushes at my onleand dog ill be telling the owner that im reporting them to the council for having an off lead uncontroable dog. That should hopefully sort some owners out.

I've given them more then enough forgivness, I get rushed by that lot everytime we go past, they must think its ok because there on the other side of the fence but today just pushed me over the edge, it is not ok for your dog to jump the fence and come at my dog like that

I live near the veladrome which is the only fenced in area in town, I dont go in there anymore because theres always a group there now but I sometimes have to go through it ( there's a path outside the fence ) everytime I go through me and my dog get fenced rushed by 4 or more dogs and none of the owners do anything to call there dogs back, none of these owners have any controll. Well today we got rushed but this time a dog jumped the fence and had a go at my dog rushing at his face and biteing his back legs, my dog was on the lead the entire time. The owner is trying to call her dog back but it wasnt listening so I yelled at her to call it back otherwise ill kick it still she takes her time. She fineally graps her dog and says sorry it was just in play, well I flipped. I told her that was not in play and it should never have happened you lot really need to learn to control your dogs I am so sick of other dogs rushing at mine epsecailly when he is always on the lead and for some stupid reason none of them thinks its a problem, what happened to keeping your dog on a lead or teaching it the recall

Not dogs just owners, doesnt matter if there offlead or not. I'll cross the road just to avoid someone with a dog, you just never know how much control they have over that dog.

There's been a couple times when I worked at Target where i've seen people bring in animals. The first time there was a young boy with a bird on his shoulder and the second time a lady was carrying a tiny puppy, it was her last day with the puppy so she wanted to spend as much time with it as possible!

I dont think I could ever stick to one breed, the problem is I can never decide on what my next breed is actaully going to be I dont have to worry about that for a while though as I wont be able to get another dog for a while.

I found a couple of fleas on Noah this morning, there not due to be fleaed till next week so was wondering if its ok to flea him and the other two now? Should I also flea rinse him?

I'll be starting obedince classes with the little guy this Sunday ( just a little excited :D ) and need some treat ideas. He loves his food but can be a little fussy and with so many new distractions I guess i'll need something that he will love, for toys i'll be taking his little tug toy which he loves and is an awesome little tugger I did do a search but nothing really came up.

Thanks for the info He's a Golden Retriever and nearly 8 years old, ill be looking at changeing his diet first and see if that makes a difference.

Would like to know what others give/feed there dogs to make there coats soft and shiny. I dont know if its becuase he's getting older but Toby's coat just doesnt stay nice as it used to/

Was just wondering where everyone goes to shop online for doggy things

Got a couple of issues with the puppy. First off we are keeping him in the loungeroom to keep an eye on him but the problem is as soon as anyone leaves the room he sooks big time, it doenst matter that there's still people in the room and it doesnt matter who it is leaveing the room. Second issue is the toilet training. We take him out every hour to a couple of hours but he still goes inside and he just doesnt give any warning! What should we be doing with him? All of our other puppies have been so easy compared to this one

He's a little fluff bum that what he is But really he's a Maltese x Shih Tzu. Bit of a storey as to how we got him. He was bought for a girl because she wanted something cute and little like the celebs have, well she hated him right away because he was the wrong colour so the dad was going to take him to the pound. Luckily a lady who my mum works with who is freinds with that family said she will take him and find a home. She told my mum about him so mum had a look and of course bought him home.
