The reason the product was suggested in my breed was simply to try & give that extra bit of help whilst travelling to the vet or being in an area not close to facilities. Its all about timing & knowing when to get help asap
-
It will never stop but you can certainly improve the amount of shedding by brushing with the right tools. Making extra effort during coat change season aswell
-
Maybe ask your state correspondent for the mags to write about it. Simple part about manners or the lack off.

i keep de gas in the grooming box,i believe the key to the right product was it must contain a certain ingredient & for the life of me i cant find that article

Yes he will learn that some adults where never taught manners. People like that make me sick and I would never excuse their behaviour as "people will be people". Its no excuse but he will meet many rude people & school will also be a place of rude/bad behaviour & kids with bad manners. A good tool is to learn from these experiences that will make him a better person. Club also did good by sending an adult the next day. Yes they shouldnt have to but raffle selling is often greeted with the word no.It really is a horrid job,why do you thinks the adults often offload it to the kids ;) I remember being sent around to sell raffle tickets & most where great.polite a small handful rude but in the end the good outweighed the bad & i couldnt dwell on the bad side. The bad will always be there that is reality.

This is a reality he will have to learn no matter what.people will be people some more brutal than others. Maybe next time send an adult with him,i now often the kids get sent because the adults are busy but a confident adult who can introduce said child to those in the now makes a big difference

yes i got similar comments for years from the club i attended about training /trialling Irish Setters.

Are they dog lovers & will be happy to have a dog indoors?? -
Ours greys always smashed there tails. vet wrap & a hair roller(or the toilet roll inside) wrap & leave. We used 3% hydrogen peroxide from shop/chemist & all would heal well except one whose tip died & was removed

Tips For Introducing A Dog To A New Baby!
Dogsfevr replied to ~Aimee~'s topic in General Dog Discussion
I would simply start Ruby sleeping elsewhere simply due to the unknown. Simply look at all the things she does now & look to the alternative. Does she spend independent time outside on her own?and im not referring to turning her to an outside dog but enabling her to be more functional on her own, able to amuse herself without you when the time is required. We always suggest pushing the pram & working on the sit/wait commands. Baby crying CD,s to allow Ruby to hear the horrid noise without panicking. What room will the baby spend most of its time in?? Will it be mainly yours or simply only at night?? I would be reducing the access to any rooms now that she has that may suddenly be a no go latter on. Ie no doubt there will be times you will havea nap when baby is alseep, what will you want Ruby to do ?? Does Ruby have a doggy door or easy access outside or is she reliant on you to open doors/speak to be let out?? In the car if you dont use a doggy seat belt or the likes then start now as you dont want Ruby jumping on baby -
On planes yearly .In my state its only one show on the weekends so no options so if a country circuit then 4 hrs drive

with this do you imagine on the chair with you or on the floor?? for example my english setter fits what your saying(but there not for everyone )he will curl up like a cat with his head on my lap enjoying being touched/stroked. At present he is curled up in bed next to me . Having said that our lounge suit seats 8 plus has a lay shay style end so that where my setters head ,the other dogs go all over & that means enough seats for me LOL , -

ii would make a list of what you really want from your dog, ie walking/running/jogging hairy/needs professional grooming/easy care the time realistically you would get to spend each week what impact the weather seasons would have in the coat care or the breed as to how it will cope or the facilities you will need to provide. how many hrs each week your happy to put aside grooming Then keep doing the dogshows & some breeds will start to interest you more & more. I have had my own dogs since 13 -
full time groomer but from our business i could never do mobile & yep back breaking/joint killing industry

I would suggest heading off to a dog show & take brother because no matter what he will play a part in your pups future. Some dogs aren.t cuddly & you cant make them cuddly, there not stuffed teddies. but will accept pats We board many Mastiff breeds & i wouldnt call them cuddly. They love there people & there always close buy but not cuddly. My friend breeds newfs & even those arent what i would call cuddly, again very people orientated & love to please but still happy to have space I have big dogs who drool which doesnt worry me but many people dislike being covered in slim, slim up the walls, the roof, bench tops, furniture you name it,it dries like a snail trial & sticks like clue. Besides normal weekly house cleaning a few hrs is spent washing down the walls . We have boarded alot of Berners do agree they are easier than the other 2 breeds mentioned & i do think more touchy/feely. -

What breed does older brother like?? Giant breeds are slow to grow/mature so long walks are out for quite awhile? I guess the key is how keen are you to train a 60kg dog?? Cute & fluffy gets big & powerful without training. Will it be allowed inside or outside only?? -
Considering the asking price i would buy a plane ticket & fly over for pick up & final check.Alot cheaper than being stuck with a dud or a lemon. Bulldogs sadly seem to the it breed for scammers & fly by nights. I too have brought from east with no issues but we now the people we are buying from or now of them via showing

when you move out will you be renting??doing uni??wanting to travel??? All these things need to be considered . Renting with adog can be very hard add large drooly breed & you may find it very hard -
Many now disagree with this being done so its a dilemma either way,i wouldnt get it done on my guys just in case
-
This would mean bugger all in making a decision. This most likely wont work for you & if you wish to do this method inform the breeder now so they can decide if there happy to or not . Most want there money first ,ensure you have a contract set up before pup is shipped or paid for as too what will happen if the pup isnt what you expected or want. If it isnt what you want you will have to pay return freight. I guess the simple reality is if the colour/markings are important & you dont want to wait you will have to take the risk that the breeder is a good one. Bulldogs are a breed that has suffered highly from scammers. If you have there prefix you could google & ask around but depending on there rep some will speak up or wont share any info due to people then playing chinese whispers How long will the wait be in WA??
-
I would suggest both of you write down the breeds that interest you & see if you can find a common middle ground THAT both of you can/want to live with
-
They should have given you a detailed diet sheet of what exactly they have been feeding or what they recommend. If you not then ask the breeder I have large breeds predisposed to bloat i have never soaked. I also feed on raised stands which there is 50/50 opinions, I have never losta dog to bloat & happy with my method of common sense

Anyone Know What This Could Be?
Dogsfevr replied to toofarnorth's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
most likley wet ear.when pup drinks tip goes in & stays moist & ends up with a crusty /crumbly edge when dry. See it all the time with the cockers we groom.some are worst than others. Some dont have it at all -
Nope & if the centre isnt co operating then that stinks, specialist centres are all about specialised people & one would think they work amongst there staff anyway. Like already said, make your appointment & ask for the history to be passed on. If they are interested & your still having issues then speak to them direct .

Well i have to agree with others dont leave the food down,he isnt self regulating he is just picking because its there & hes telling you how he wants to eat not you. The reality is he most likely isnt eating the food anyway because of the ants so defeats the purpose of leaving it out. he has you well trained. There is no way i would want ants setting up house
