To give what this owner wants they would also need to follow all the guidelines you believe are crucial in your guarantee working. When our pups go we encourage the owners to get a vet check within the first 48 hrs with there chosen vet & i would say nearly all our buyers do this We supply a diet sheet that we now works very successful within our breed & we have highlighted if they wish to change it or the diet isn't working to contact us. Obviously some puppy buyers chose not to follow our advice, they believe what the vet sells must be "right" & we have read on DOL many a time people suggesting diets with out understanding the special needs some breed needs without understanding the long term consequences that can result. Our dogs are all health tested & the reports are given in the paperwork,we do everything that we can to ensure a healthy pup is sold BUT we emphasis the importance to the new owners that what they do also plays a major factor in a health guarantee Our buyers are told well before committing to the breed & a pup the health issues that are there ,what efforts we have gone to but in some area no amount of testing can tell you the future. We also hand out or suggest web pages for them to read up prior getting pup etc etc.We make sure our pet owners have educated themselves because that is part of the deal. When people collect our pups we go through each page of our puppy book to ensure they have seen & understood what is in there, normally where possible they get the book beforehand so they can ask questions if need be & they have to sign in the contract that they have read the book & fully understand the info listed. Your wording is very important I agree with Jed be careful

The Fauve is from Sweden or Denmark i believe but carries the Soletrader affix at the end of it name I think its Sarah's first one but i would imagine they have a wealth of experience within that variety as they do travel alot . I am sure if they are planning to breed them they will have some cracker dogs

The BOB fauve is from a very well known show kennel in the UK, stunning on the video , http://crufts.fossedata.co.uk/Breed.asp?Sh...;ScheduleID=118 Soletrader is very well known for the PBGV & infact they also own/bred the reserve in show

Cleaning Up After Large Numbers Of Dogs
Dogsfevr replied to Perry's Mum's topic in General Dog Discussion
In our area we have a special waste company that comes & collects . We use the large sulo bins per normal rubbish but the waste is bagged & placed in the bin & they collect it ,Easy peasy. We don't wash it down the drain here -
The agility has just started on live stream from crufts

We use Risely street vet who has now moved to there new place in Myaree, Ian is an excellent vet used by many of the dog show folk. Another vet used alot is Deepwood in Gosnells. We still keep in contact with applecross but the vets keep changing alot so its hard to keep a "feel" when you have no idea about the vets on. Ian use to work for Applecross . Another good vet is Midland Vet with Ross Staaden . We are happy to travel & drive past 5 vets within 10/15 mins

The cav is 15 months old & needed 3 points, she is away for 5 weeks so was happy just to title him but BIS was a massive bonus for Jenny. Yes Jenny got married the day before, drove back to Perth yesterday & hit holiday traffic so was late picking them up then rushed down to the show . I had a good weekend,1 group. 1 runner up in grp,1 junior in grp ,2 inter in grp My young irish also made the shortlist on saturday for group which i was very happy with as the judge has breed/shown Irish Setters

Never have & never will.references are only as good as the people giving them. Some vets aren't worth there Diploma & other people's ideas of a good owner well :D Some training clubs also have no clue . If a breeder can't weed out there potential owners through asking the right questions then god help them. As for following up references vets won't discuss clients due to the privacy act & if vets are answering questions from strangers then i would be rightly peeved

In 25 plus years of being around minis we have never had it & we groom one dogs that has break outs. We groom on average 5/6 minis a week. The one dog that does have break outs isn't exactly feed a good diet, they never wash it so its skin is always dirty .

I no longer go buy the travel light theory,i simply do the i must have & the just in case items. To often i have tried the travel light & regretted leaving something home because i thought it wasn't a really needed item but having said that i take more having coated breeds anyway

Techniques do work but you have to be patient, seriously it is doing what pups do & i often can't figure why people get so feed up with little puppies for being normal . Reverse the scenario as if it was you at work & someone was getting feed up with you & how you would feel I would also avoid telling him off & placing in the crate .The crate should be a place he fells comfy to get in not be a punishment den,if you do wish to use it for time out then you need to place pup in there in a calm/quiet manner not angry. Being scared is a serious over reaction & if you feel that way then you will not connect with the dog. You have no reason to be scared nor do you have any reason to be demotivated for something the pup has no idea. Your body language during this time would seriously affect how your dog interacts with you & the dog will either play up more or become less inclined to want to be around you after all who wants to be around another person that would treat you the same way for no good reason at all. Often the techniques don't work because people give up,are boring ,speak like a mouse or have no substance to the voice tone ,they are boring so why should a pup want to listen . Many people say no 10 times ,the dogs name 10 times & after awhile the cue words mean bugger all because when said nothing happens they just part of the normal vocabulary used every day & often around the dog. What have you started to teach him?? Generally you will see the signs of getting to excited so be prepared to stop the game before the dog losses focus. If certain toys/games get it over excited then don't encourged it until you have some control. It really is seasy but most people have an issue when it goes pear shaped & there was plenty of warning, just like toddlers

We spent an hour plus at the emergency vets last night with a 5 month old joey that was hit ,The people knocked on our door 10pm distressed (young boys) Our rangers are good here but this one was still hopping. So off we go doona in hand to catch roo, into dog crate & of to vet . It was PTS as it snapped its major leg bone but atleast it didn't suffer. We have had police come out & shot big roos with bones hanging out going crazy around the road & our ranger is able to shot them as well. We also do pouch searches . We stop within reason ,

I would never feed hills but that is my choice due to the high wheat & corn & that being a known breed issue Diet very much comes down to what people want to feed, what works well for there breed, growth issues & the dogs in question. What works for one may be awful for another. There is no perfect diet but there are plenty of diets that work well for many dogs without any issues at all Have you followed the diet sheet the breeder recommended for both dogs ??
