  1. Enjoy your day .im not showing tomorrow ,will hopefully show next sat all going to plan.
  2. luickily our kennels are bomb proof for escaping & with holidays boarders in you just need to hang around up there watch them .all are fine & settling now . I will say we got a brilliant view from our backyard & they spent big bucks on it
  3. Well the fireworks have been going for 7 mins the noise is awful & we have dogs overwhemled
  4. A Puli shouldn't smell if groomed/dried correctly. Each cord needs to be worked in layers When not groomed they are rank, the worst smell ever, I fondly remember the Komadors at Adelaide Royal each year they smelt something awful & you dreaded being benched near .
  5. A mal pup could easily be bottle feed ,we have never syringed(infact never come across a vet that suggest this method) but have hand feed many pups by bottle who would weigh nothing compared to your pup. Evene pups a tad slow we will bottle just to get them started plus natural feeding . Personally if your not confidient i wouldn't tube either . Its ashame is it now 2 days latter & so much can be achieved in 2 days if the pup is healthy What exactly are you feeding?? How many hours do you feed?? When the vet checked it was it dehydrated ?? As mentioned did he check the palate ??
  6. BOB Std Poodle Grd Ch Artizan Vanity Fair "Willow"
  7. $50 a week sounds a bit unbelievable But still a great tactic, definitely get your friend to do this. What Pav Lova said.. $50 a week is cheap. Like a boarding kennel, you friend has a right to retain the dog until payment is made for outstanding board. A boarding kennel would have used a contract outlining payment ,health, vet expenses during the stay & the owner sign it. Unless the same applied here & had something in writing i doubt you can apply a kennel situation at all. They need to get copies of all vet bills & history since there care & not tell the old owner anything if it happens to head down the court path. Photo,s,any special outings that can be documented, phone bills with the calls of the owner highlighted for the past 12 months has the dog been vaccinated ,spayed ,medicated, wormed??Do they have copies of these bills Food bills the more history the better It hard one to now which would be the best legal option & if time is an issue then i wouldn't be home tonight to not allow any heated convo's to happen.
  8. [quote name='Terujo' timestamp='1317028605' post='5512589' She takes them to her workplace ( an ABC childcare centre) where buyers pick up their pup. Umm this alone would be cause for concern & if factual should also be reported to the centre .

  14. We use Ziggy Chester for Eyes & no referral required she works from Murdoch Uni & Swanbourne vet . Ziggy is the person who does the show people eyes,we have used her for over 20 years now.
  15. Everyone knows the Royals are outside the "box" of normal shows ,you are either prepared to put yourself out for 1 day or your not .Yes some walking & effort is required but the Royal isn't about the dogs only ,yes we would all like better this & that but then again why bother when everyone bitches all the time . In all the years when i use to do Melb royal we never had issues ,all easy peasy & i travelled from the East. Its funny i travel to melb every year to the shows people whinge the most about yet i haven't had any issues Maybe i am very lucky & i come from a state where we don't have to put ourselves out so for me its a big change for what im use to but i now that & take it as it comes otherwise its simple i don't enter if its such a drama
  16. Very few groomers will do a full hand strip due to the time required plus to do it correctly means doing so over weeks not one session. Why not do it yourself if the coats are good you could roll it ,it isn't gard to do yourself & way cheaper . We hand strip as groomers but we don't do full hand strips to skin because unless the owners are working on the coat in between its not worth the effort for us
  17. I love Virgina Perry gardners ,the Setter collection are to die for
  18. The most important emergency information people need is which vet does after hours service. It amazes me how many people have no idea whether there vet does after hrs & if not the next best option . This knowledge can make or break any emergency . For example in Perth very few vets do after hours & you get sent to Murdoch, but our vet does after hrs plus we have other options (a must for our business)( we will use Murdoch if that is the clients wishes ) So people should have a printed card handy of all options, directions & numbers
