I think it's as long as you don't feed just the white to the dog it's fine, something in the yolk counteracts what's in the white...if that makes sense...lol so you can feed the yolk, or the yolk and white...but not just the white
-
I think it's up to you really...cooking takes out a lot of the nutrients but cooked egg is easier to serve to the dog etc. Just mix the egg up in the dogs food or some milk, that's all i did.
-
The eggs are fine...just don't feed too many..too much protien, adn i think if a dog gets too many their poo could get a bit messy, as they are a bit rich. The reason i mentioned to crack the eggs and freeze the shells was so the dogs didn't pick up the idea to steal the eggs from the chooks themselves. For my dogs i crack the eggs and throw them in with the rest of the food, shell and all.
-
I'd only give a couple of eggs a week to each dog, but they are fine to be fed to them. Crack the eggs and toss the shells into the freezer, every so often take the frozen shells out and grind them into a powder...easy calcium for the dogs

Yeah...i'm going to be up at flippin sparrows fart in the morning Luckily i will be taking my camp bed/cot/swag thing so you could find me asleep with the site all marked out with umpteen dozen fold up chairs about the place...

I wouldn't stop feeding raw pork to your dogs...but perhaps just wack it in the freezer for a week or so and give it to the dogs once it's defrosted.
-
My boys love the piggy feet...lol, But i usually freeze them for a bit...mainly because they are gross when they get a lil manky
-
I think the main reason we don't eat raw pork is because of the eewww factor  But Aus hasn't got a lot of the diseases that other countries have to deal with, hence the generally strict quarantine laws.

Ok...aim for Beenleigh Rd and turn right at the last street before the railway line, turn right again into the parking lot to the skate/etc park but continue to follow it all the way through, you'll end up on a dirt track with scrub all around you, yuo'll come out of that into a clearing...go through the gate and you can't miss it.

Check out your local vets or larger pet warehouse type places. A couple of places near me let you hyrdobath (and blow dry) your dog for about $8 - $10...might be worth your while Personally i do think it comes down to individual dogs and it depends on what their coat is like etc. And as to how long....i think that's as much up to the dog as well

101 Uses For Apple Cider Vinegar

Which types of mange does it treat...and how is it best applied....any one know how long it takes to fix the problem? -
i'm sure Skye will enjoy herself...lol, and i guess that counts as a 'better offer' at least for Skye it will...

Also depending on the size of your dog it's cheaper to go with a monthly heartwormer, this might sound a little strange but my old vet tried pushing me to get the injection for my older dog. I asked him how much for a 40kg dog...and i'm sure the amount would differ with different vets... but the price was well over double what i spend per year on monthly heartworm, with a consult on top of that price
-
Great! that's worked out well then Ok...true this was an unashamed 'bump'
-
I decided against the annual heartworm for my dogs...partially because it costs quite a bit more for my dogs then it would with the monthly tablets, the other reason being is that i'm not yet sure that it would last the year as it's supposed to
-
yeah...it took me a bit to think some up, but i wanted to use all 10!...which might be a tad obvious by the options given ;)
-
I just thought i'd ask the question... I have started putting a coat on my older dog at night as he's getting older and i wanted to make sure his hips and shoulders stayed nice and warm. But i was asked if i'd put on on my young longcoat GSD, and hadn't even thought of so up until that point. He won't need it for a while yet but it promted the question. Occasionally i will dress the dogs up...Bronx the pup doesn't realise this yet though ETA - how much would you be willing to spend on dog coats etc?
-
Perhaps look at a Border Collie...but aim for one from a good breeder.
-
oh well...there you go then
-
I would think that dependong on what is you it could dilute it. I'd suggest perhaps washing the dogs once a month and two days after washing them apply the frontline and see how it goes from there. If you have a severe flea problem that could be why you are having to aplly the stuff more often.
-
i normally use advantage instead of frontline...but have used both....and have only had to use it once a month. How often are you bathing your dogs and what do you use? some dog shampoos will strip the coat of the flea stuff...and if you use it to soon after a bath there isn't enough oils on hte skin/coat to move the flea stuff around. You might have to look at using something to treat the area as well as using a product on the dog.

Blackberry poison...several times , it's a horrid thing to try and get rid of cause the damn thing seems to be able to grow from a dropped leaf! Just turns up everywhere. Poison the plants first thing in the morning of a sunny day, head out for the day with the pets and it should all be fine by the time you get home.
-
Are they just scratching? or is the skin coming up with welts etc? A hit of flea spot on might help...i use sentinal as well, but every so often stick on some advantage/frontline just to give a boost and kill any that have jumped on my dogs for a short ride... Cats in the area are bad for carrying fleas about, which is why i spot on every so often.

You have to have a licence to import them, same as Prong collars, but you can buy them from within Australia. I agree!
