Out of the supermarket brands i'd be aiming for Purina One or Optimum
-
Already got them an all-weather tracking/pulling harness each...
-
Bahahahaha...ML...that still doesn't explain why I have an agitation harness for my boys!
-
I am tempted...but i have more stuff then i need as it is!
-
Hope you manage to find your gear...wouldn't think there would be much of a market for it to just be an opportunistic 'swipe' of stuff. Figuring you've already done this...but have you contacted the sporting dog groups? and perhaps police dog squads etc? (interstate ones as well...) Just to warn them of someone trying to sell them some cheap quality gear? And keep an eye out for you at the same time?

I use a bait bag and Ziwipeak dried meat treats

Feeding A 7 Week Old Rotti Pup (maybe Cross)
KitKat replied to Norskgra's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I thiink that is a load of crock Tyson here on the right Is from a rotti mum and god only knows what but he is no pure breed yet he has the same markings as my other 2 and they are purebreed with papers I agree with Pandii - my old boy Harm was a Rotti x Lab...he had standard rotti markings except for a white strip for a bib. And considering other breeds come in the black and tan...well...you know what i mean -
OMG! Good on her new owner
-
Some do get thru...and some don't....it's the risk you take if ordering it yourself from O/S.

Throwing Up And Diarrhoea
KitKat replied to Loving my Oldies's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Plain meat, even with some rice, isn't a complete diet - you'd be better off even using the mulched chook frames (pet chicken mince) from Leonards - and having that as your 'base' but of course it can't be cooked due to the bone content. Meat with rice doesn't have the correct balance of everything most dogs need...even with the occasional extras... -
Thanks Troy

That will depend on how old and procotious (sp?) he is...lol. Sabre was getting messy from about 4 months onwards that i noticed at least

Hehehehehe...this topic comes up more then i expected...excuse the pun Yes...much like a normal blokes in regards to placement. The two lumps are an obvious 'happy' and depending on how old your dog is...anything can give him a 'happy' - think back to about the age of around 16 i guess But if you touch around the area that will also give him a happy...lol. At the moment even looking at my 10month old pup is enough to get him excited...lol.

Well...It looks a lil funny on Sabe only because i set its size for Bronx and couldn't be bothered changing it...lol...however i'm thinking Sabe would look lovely in a red one...perhaps in the new year...lol. Bronx isn't 100% convinced... Sabe couldn't care less once he decided he couldn't eat it - tho he wasn't as helpful when i was trying to put it on as Bronx was... Oh...and the boys loooooooove that hammerhead toy!!!
-
I'm still working out how to take the pic's off my phone...lmao. But as to the pic's of the packs...i'll be taking them today...both my boys will get a chance at being decked out

I'd probably give PawPaw Ointment a go...

I feed high quality/super premium dry food usually with raw/meaty bones/leftovers/meat/mince/sausage/natures gift/etc on the side My boys love piggie ears...and they have a nice smokey smelling breath after eating them ETA - i've tried differing ways of feeding, eg raw/barf, cheaper foods, more expensive foods etc...and currently i seem to have just the right balance as my dogs are looking great at the moment and are healthy as can be But again...as it says in my sig... "The best food for your dog is the food your dog does best on! Packaged or Unpackaged!!!"

Good Quality Dry Food In Different Sizes.

If you want to stick with Supercoat you can try the 'large breed' one - the kibble is a fair bit bigger and more of a rectangle shape from memory. Bonnie working dog is a large flat disk of a kibble if that's of interest. I think the smallest bag of either is a 4kg one tho. Leo - Advance is considered a super premium kibble...up with EP, RC, Euk, Nutrience etc etc -
Other good kibbles that people have had good results with are... Supercoat Bonnie Optimum Purina One Pedigree Performance
-
I've also seen them called a 'Good Dog Collar' - personally i'm not in favour of them but i've never used them so... *shrug*

Have You Ever Removed Your Dogs Stitches Yourself?

What Puggles said -
If it's localised Demodex then yes...it will clear up on it's own...however it will take longer to do so then if treated with Ivermectin. LD can be caused by stress, puberty, etc a bit like a dip of immunity. Generalised Demodex is the problematic one and it based on an ongoing immunity problem kinda idea...treatment is the only way to go...as well as keeping an eye on things for the rest of the dogs days.

Lamb 'Meal' is the meat shredded and dehydrated...rather then the 'real meat' in the other that is behind the grains for starters...and not yet dehydrated...

What Is An Irresistible Food For Dogs?
KitKat replied to Silly Cat's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Ok...you have to take the food away from him...put it down for 10mins...then take it away, offer it in the morning and at night - but only for 10min increments. If you leave it all day for him...you won't know exactly how much is there and he can decide if he wants it...or if he wants to try for something better. -

Might be time for some tough love? Otherwise.... ProPlan Sensitive (Salmon) is great with a fishy smell that can tend to tempt dogs. Royal Canin Maxi/GSD/4300 or 4800. Nutro Lamb and rice or Performance. EaglePack has already been advised With the raw i'd be going lamb and chicken...higher in fat then many other meats and still good for him Roo might be too lean for him... Perhaps crate him when he eats...that way he can't hide anything...generally... (ok...so my Sabe stuffs things under his blankie in his crate... ) and you can take it off him once he's 'finished' so he doesn't feel compelled to hide stuff for later cause he's full kinda thing?
