Will read the link shortly thanks again. Is that the same Dr Bruce that does Vets All NAtural food?
-
Thanks Pomquest. Asking as per breeders diet sheet should also be giving vit c, pup is a german sheperd. Am feeding raw diet aswell as some dry, not totally BARF.
-
Me again. Do any of you use vitamin c in either tablet or powder form and if so where do you get it in bulk at al please? I have only been able to find tablet form in small bottles. Is there anywhere online? Cheers

Must have missed that thread :-) Will give it a go.

No probs. How did you find out about Vets? I only found out through a friend Ross. Dont think it is widely known about

I know all about the fussy beasts, my lot drive me nuts. They all eat dry so either RC Persian or Eagle Pack plus fresh meat but 1 will not touch the fresh and they most definately wont eat any canned food, which of course if you run out or are unable to buy the dry (which happens quite often) makes life a little hard. Wondered how this stuff apart from the soaking was any different to other dry foods?

Hi Freysmum So up in Rocky very clopse to the freind who has said I should give it a go :-) It doesnt seem that expensive over the net, was having a look at the sight last night. Obviously feeding for 8 months your dog is doing well on it, is it correct you soak it and mix it in with the meat they sell or feed on its own?

Hi All Was wondering if any of you have heard of or used / are using Vets All Natural pet food and what you think of it. Thanks in advance

So if my BC has had 3 vacc's should I consider getting a PARVAC done at 6months or so?
-
can anyone tell me please which breeds seem to be more susceptible to Parvo please, besides rotties?

Hi I was wondering if anyone who may be located on the NSW Central Coast / Nth Sydney can tell me somewhere to purchase FRESH meat please. What I mean is I buy chicken casserole pieces and lamb flaps, livers etc and of late these have been so off I have had to return them to the butchers. Keeping in mind this is human grade meat :-) which I purchase for the cats, pup and ourselves. Can anyone tell me somewhere please who supplies absolutely fresh non stinky meat and that also supplies the offal? Finding the offal has been a big issue. Thanks in advance

So are you vaccinating at 8 with say C3 etc follwed by a Parvac at 10 weeks then another shot at 12-14? Do you get a third? Asking as hubby has a puppy who has had 3 vaccinations but I am also getting a puppy and am now concerned for his health, he would opnly have had 1 shot.....

Border Collie Skin Problems?
PooMother replied to Risyntira's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
He is clear for the above but he is to be neutered anyway so be a carrier for one to me is not a concern (well so I have been told) The MDR1 worries me so I have sent an email to Gribbles and asked for a test kit in any case just to be sure. Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it. -

Sorry for the mulitple posts. With this test do Gribbles just ask you to swab the cheek area with a brush, allow it to dry etc? Reason I am asking is that I have some swab brushes left over here that I had sent to me from Gribbles when I was DNA testing my cats for PKD thought maybe I could use those and send it off. -

Hi I have just logged on to see if I could find a link (if any) on reactions to vaccinations and voila here is someone with very symptoms to what I was going to ask about Hubbys BC is 4months old, entire and is vaccinated. his vaccination - 2nd I noticed hair loss from underneath. His rough is still considerable however he looks like he is going bald (patchy) His appetite is good, not itchy or scrathing and very active and happy. Coat has also become dry. I thought losing winter coat possibly but am now unsure as I said rough is long and fluffy and part of the top is still long and fluffy. At vets Tuesday and he says all is fine. Diet is Eaglepack, chicken pieces, lamb / mutton flaps etc. Im also at a loss -
Thats what I thought however one of the vets we spoke to today said there was no such thing as killed vaccine........so which is best to use please?
-
Can anyone tell me if the puppy vaccines are the same as the kitten ones being either activated or inactivated please? About to go and get puppy his shot now
