I was sort of expecting a lense to be around the $1000 mark?

I am using the auto alot but want to learn how to use the camera properly so am also looking at enrolling into a course just not sure where to start really TAFE or private lessons etc they all vary so much.

I dont explain myself well lol. With the current lense if the dogs are at the other end of the yard I zoom in but when I download and edit I ahve to crop alot to get the close up I want, but I want more cos Im greedy. I sometimes have to get up close to get a nice picture. THanks for the web links I shall have a look. I will go through my photos and show you what I mean

HI I have a CAnon 40D and the lense that came with it is a EFS 17-85mm. Now I would like to take photos where I can really zoom in on a subject /object either in or outdoors. Any suggestions? Have done a search on here and am still confused as to what distance each lense will go to. Is there a book for camera dummies in plain english?

I was taking my GSD to training and the instructor always held everyones dogs, got you to walk away and then call them............never did it with my last trainer.

Crap it sucks having to work and not getting access sometimes till you get home. Is anything still available, may I please have a price list aswell thanks

Hi just wondering if anyone knows if there is a club that does this sort of training ona weekend at all around Morisett area? Hubby has a BC and of late I have been training him at my club which trains in the evening (obedience) but huby would really love to be able to do this himself but only has weekends due to work.
