Hey all you vet nurses, people in the know and vets out there, yesterday I had a prog done on one of my girls and after ringing around trying to find out what the result was cos they didnt call me back by closing time the vet admitted that they forgot to send the prog off with the courier. Now it was taken yesterday at 9.15 am and Im guessing they will try and send it today.....Im not happy for this as I dont believe it wouldve been spun down so Im not sure if the result will be trustworthy. If it has been spun down is it still going to be an accurate result? Is it unreasonable for me to get them to do a prog today at no charge and send both off? This is the final straw in a long list of errors made by my vet....am officially new vet shopping.

Grooming my dogs so they look purty and the look on their faces when they jump off the grooming table at home after being washed dried trimmed and fussed over...they are always so pleased with themselves and know they look great Sitting around talking and buying stuff

Betterment of the breed is very a subjective statement..... I know someone who spouts that off but some of the breedings done continue to baffle me as to how they might be bettering the breed rather than the breeders cheque book

Dunno if it makes any difference with staffords but in my breed flat splayed feet can be improved by keeping them lean, vitamin C and walking on gravel to make them grip and tighten their toes.

I went to a repro talk recently and they had the people from WOmbaroo there and they showed all the common feeding milk supplements and their break down. Wombaroo was made the closest to dog milk. Maybe you could try that if you can get it for more concentrated calories.

I had to put in 32 prefixes before I got one.....and i dont like it I sent in 8 four times before they accepted one?!

Can you do sub cutaneous fluids/saline behind his neck? The vet will have all the stuff. A friend with a failing puppy (she got squashed) used rectal glucose (in 1ml syringe) to give sugars and hydrate more. (The bowel has a big surface are so absorbs fluid)

I would say that to import from the US costs a bomb in customs/freight etc. I know peperone are waiting on some more stuff from the US and this time its coming direst from CC and they will divide the saving between all their stuff and make the proces cheaper again :D
