FWIW I am using a simple idea to choose when I have several potentials: can I shoot the same thing (or similar) again easily? If so, it is knocked out of the running for that day/week. That's what happened yesterday - I had an idea, shot the photo and came back in the house to see Dora's ear up but bent over and viola, that became the shot of the day. I can always recreate the original idea so will come back to that another day and it's nice to have a reserve of ideas for those days when I'm really unmotivated .

The more the merrier! One of the hardest things (and most beneficial imho) about these challenges is forcing ourselves to cull and choose a single image that we like - whether because it's technically correct or simply because we like it no matter how technically "off" it is That's why this week I'm just hangin in there even tho I think I already have my one to share...I might get something I want to share more!

tlc - cool pup! rav - love giraffes! Mavs - gorgeous! 3/365 Lobo Edited in Lightroom with a custom preset - never used it this way before and it worked good :D I put it up larger on the blog...

I'm a clean and simple girl really. No super frillies for me on fonts. Part of my dilemma is I'm not sure on the one or two sided. sometimes I think "wow yeah, I'd like that" and other times I think all one side LOL photographer on the card probably... I don't know. I'm so uninspired...

LOL that might help, eh? here's the jpg swirly. I have it as an eps file etc for the final project so it has a clear border but I couldn't seem to put that in here. And all I want is a phone number, web address and email along with my name. I want negative space to write a date or very short note. A friend suggested I do the swirly on the front with my name and another on the back with the contact details overlaid kind of. It's OK.

Not free, but Photoshop Elements is way more affordable and still more than most people will ever need, but it's great. Personally, I'd save up for Lightroom :D

frodo - awwww tawny - pretty!

I want to do a very simple new contact card with my swirly logo, name & contact details but nothing I'm coming up with is really floating my boat too much. Thought I'd just ask here if anyone would be willing to have a go since you all are so talented and please no "hire a pro" advice, been there, done that and been unhappy four times so taking a wee break from tossing good money after bad for this particular small project.
