Well, just dropped the Pupster off at the vet as supposedly his new owner is picking him up in a few minutes. The vet was an ass imho but I really shouldn't have expected anything more. And I didn't get to meet the new dad -the vet totally hustled me out, no time for me now, clearly. We're sure going to miss him around here but are so happy he's found a forever home!! Had to get in a few more puppy snuggles before I dropped him off but he was just up from a nap and totally squirmy worm so didn't get anything great - oh well, I have the memories!

Dora's so good with him - so patient as he crawls over her and chews her ears and then changes to Grizzly Bear Playtime...quite dangerous in my tiny office, though!

What may be our final early morning beach walk

Thought the conditions would suck for snorkeling in Exmouth Gulf yesterday because we're on big tides so I expected ripping current and dirty water. Was totally surprised to find almost no current and beautiful clear water! Glad I took the chance :) Spent just over an hour watching 1000s of fishes (I don't think I've ever seen so many fish in this area), a couple of teensy nudibranchs, the most amazingly patterned sting ray, very cool hermit crabs of all colours & sizes and a little cat shark that my friend found tucked up in a hole. Excellent way to spend an afternoon after the boat breaking down in the morning and sinking our hopes for a dive! Stingray (not sure what kind) Hermit crab scene up close hermit cat shark (again, not sure what species) Panasonic TS3

The vet sucks. I think the new owner might be OK. Who knows? I do know we're going to miss him lots on our daily walkies!

@piper - that's so sweet! Thank you :) @snook - thanks! Got out for a dive yesterday but had some blonde moments like setting up my gear wrong added to a foggy mask so shooting was a challenge LOL Was meant to head out today but had boat problems and my buddy needed to be back in town this arvo so we didn't have time to fix them and still head out. Really bummed But here's a couple from yesterday... my buddy Simon with a batfish school of threadfin pearl perch more fish

Why not host them on your own site and use something like Photocart for the galleries & ordering then your own professional lab for printing? Many pro labs will drop ship if you don't want to deal with that.

Dogs are dogs. They are not children. Why anyone would want them to be is beyond me. Dogs should be valued as the beings they are - not some crazy-ass fantasy being that a human projects onto them. Humans need to get a grip.

He is such a little gem of a guy. Sometimes I'd be happy to keep him but really I don't want a third dog and there are too many puppy things that irritate me  The vet doesn't seem to be in any hurry to get this guy to his new home. He was meant to be picked up on Friday and the vet nurse was going to call me to tell me to come down & drop Pup off, but she never did. I finally rang her at 7pm and asked what was up. She said "oh the guy hurt his leg and I haven't spoken with him since I saw him [which would have been Wed night/Thurs morning] and so I think probably Tuesday now." Why Tuesday - coz that's when they are open again I was silent and she added "oh, if you can't keep him you can drop him off with us" I'm fuming thinking a) it's a good thing I didn't sit around waiting for a phone call Friday, b) she KNEW he wasn't going to go to his new home Friday so why didn't she ring me to let me, too, c) how is hurting one's leg (unless he's in hospital, I guess) relevant to caring for a dog?? I've totally destroyed my ankle and I keep pace with my brood. It's just what you do when you have pets and d) wtf is up with this guy? If I adopted a doggie, I'd want it home with me ASAP. The vet nurse is also trying to get my friend who's donated $$ to the new owner to give them the money instead of the new owner. From where I sit it looks like the vet is totaly in this for a profit...see my other thread in general. My friend is not amused either. It's all very frustrating. On the upside, my Girls love him and he's a lot of fun mostly :) Doesn't want to leave the beach Before figuring out that he may be a little too close to Dora - though look at that face, he knows he pushing his luck

Went snorkeling with my housemates at one of the most popular tourist spots yesterday. We had a good time and saw some neat stuff. My housemate snorkeling with a good sized cowtail ray Nudibranch egg spiral

Took Puppy out for a last pee last night and looked up to see a very cool circle around the moon. Went back inside, grabbed a camera and attempted to grab a few frames - which was not fascilitated by one small dog bouncing on me as I laid on my back and tried to hand-hold slow shutter speeds LOL Anyone else see it?

My girls are so going to miss him if this turns out to be his forever home! More on my bloggy :)

Gosh, this little guy is so awesome Just back from another great beach walk and the three doglets together make me laugh so much! He just loves hanging out with my girls and exploring the beach. I dropped Puppy off at the vet's on the way home as the guy who is meant to be adopting him is coming today to play with both puppies and see which one suits him better. It's tough coz I really want Pup to have a great forever home ASAP but it's not going to be the same around the house without him. And I think Tilly will really miss him, too. He made my heart break a little when I dropped him off. He didn't want to go play with his brother and I had to scoot him behind the fence. As I walked away he squirmed back through and galloped after me, throwing himself against the fence as I left My poor little tyke! So dang cute
