No, I dont think it's just a retriever thing, my whippets do it too. Yep this is Zeph all over. He will run around madly looking for just the right thing, according to him, to bring me when I get home. Hence there are always various toys laying around, and something always in his mouth. He also loves to make a game of stealing stuff from the recycling bin. When I wake up it is always one of my socks. Every morning. :laugh:

Thanks for the compliments All. I am glad that you enjoyed the photos. Mumsie I got the pool from Bunnings. It is better than the clam shell as it is sturdier and does not have the ripples on the bottom. I paid around $30.

Then it was Dee's turn. She had been in hiding whilst Zeph had his bath She was off as soon as I turned the tap back on to rinse the soap off, and seemed to blame her brother for the horror of it all, after all he was the dirty one, and thus the reason for the pre Christmas visits bath.

It was a perfect day for their Christmas bath, or so I thought Zeph was first, but the look on his face should have told me all would not go smoothly. Not a good start - Zeph thinks that the soap tastes bad and the water is too cold All soaped up and he is off............ Finally get a chance to rinse him off

I will give it another go. It was lots of fun when I took the camera out. My theme for next year will be action shots of the dogs and weather. Bring on the lightning
