  1. RedFeather and MRB and Steph Don't, I repeat DON'T you dare tell Zeph that Beanies are socks. Ever. Do you hear me. As I chase after Zeph to retrieve yet another of my socks. It is no bloody wonder that I cannot find a matching pair in this house. Zeph, drop it. Give. You cannot have my socks, I have cold feet.
  2. Poor Neko does not look impressed, but what a stunning photo. Neko is obviously not an art lover, and hates being a muse.
  3. I usually have the phone or camera within reach, as they do the cutest or most ridiculous things when I am very comfortable or otherwise engaged. They are great attention seekers. We had a most stressful moment last night. Got home late from work, with shopping in hand. Let the dogs out to the toilet, while putting the shopping away. I found the chicken lollies (fresh chicken necks) and put them in their bowls, then went out the front to put the rubbish in the bin. Unbeknownst to me, the OH let them inside. They bolted to their bowls expectantly, but I was not inside. I heard them thunder to the front door in an absolute panic. As soon as I came in, they ran to the kitchen, looking back to make sure that I was following, and promptly sat in front of their bowls, looking at me eagerly. I told them to "eat" and relieved their anxiety. Crisis averted. They have to wait to be told to eat. OH did not even realise that there was food in their bowls, so went back to his office.
  4. Pooh has been loaded onto the phone for future reference while Op Shopping. Thank you so much for the offer of Tigger. Unfortunately, Baylee passed away at the end of 2013, so we don't require a new Tigger anymore. Sorry Grumpette I knew she had passed, I didn't realise she was the only one who played with it. I hope it didn't upset you. No of course not. I love any excuse to look at Baylee photos and reminisce :)

  6. That is hilarious. Neko must have been so comfortable and blissfully asleep. Love it :D
  7. Sorry to hear that you are in hospital. Hopefully it is only a short stay. But very glad to hear that the dogs can visit. :)
  8. MRB, Zeph is very optimistic, some would say bordering on the delusional.
  9. One of Dee's favourite treats. I would also love to help out in the Pooh hunt. Baylee had a Tigger teddy that was her favourite toy. She slept with it every night for 11 and 1/2 years. We tried to replace it when it started getting little fleaing holes in it, but could never find the right one. We eventually gave up, and only gently hand washed him instead of machine washing.
  10. I cooked corned silverside for dinner tonight. At the end of dinner Dee bought over her mad cow to swap for a chance to lick the plate. Not to be outdone, Zeph went and got the biggest tube that he could find and brought it over for me to fill. So not happening my boy.
  11. Oh God, if Ernie and Zeph teamed up the universe would be in a whole world of conflicted pain. Cuteness overload and dastardly deeds. Snuggles and love, or rolled eyes, shaking heads and terse words. Life would be extremely interesting and never dull.
  12. My dogs are allowed to play with their treats, but are not allowed to eat them until they are told that they can
  13. You let the dogs in and make the visitors stay outside? tempting, very tempting... Easier to clean up that way.
  14. I am so very sorry. May you get the chance to create some wonderful memories.
  15. We thought that about Baylee too, for a while. She would run up to the shed door, when it was rolled up, and just sit there and look up, sniffing. We could not find anything and assumed nothing was there, because it was always shut when we were not in the backyard. Until a few months later. The OH rolled the door down to close it, and a possum jumped down, scared the crap out of him, and ran off. Baylee was vindicated. We never doubted her nose again. So, I am betting that there are scents of critters, hopefully long gone, that he is picking up.
  16. OMG how could you resist her Gapvic. I mean really!!!
  17. Trying to bury something maybe? Dee and Zeph on occasion have tried to bury treasures in the corner of rooms
  18. He outdid himself today. He always goes through the grocery bags as I'm unpacking them. Today he found his treat stash, so I unwrapped a new branded one and he happily bounced off to the couch to eat it. Apparently it was rubbish so he came back, fetched a packet of his favourite ones and bounced off to dad to ask him to open the packet. Yes this is the same dog that excuses himself from doing a sustained hold on an object because it hurts his flappy gums. You were trying to poison him with low fat treats. But Dad saved him
  19. I swear Jake is the most evil genius human trainer I have ever heard about. His skills and thought processes are pure brilliance
  20. Yes. The ball on desk, huffy-puffy, snippy yaps, ball on chair performance. Yep, subtle aren't they? NOT
  21. Ours love to pre-rinse the things that go into the recycle bin, but they keep a couple of containers to bring to you so that you can put a treat into it. It is a great way to teach "fetch" "hold" and "give". However, it has turned into a not so subtle way of Zeph communicating that it is dinner time. He turns the simplest, most innocent action into a weapon of evil.
  22. Zeph is so starved that he has to beg for food on a regular basis Dee has the worst sleeping arrangements, not enough cushions apparently There is only one bed in the office, so they have to share, but Zeph won't move, so Dee has to sit on him
