Zeph absolutely adores her, but she loves him even more. Yet she annoys the crap out of him. She is always attached to his neck. There is a constant game of keeping off going on, where the one that has the chosen toy will push it into the other's face to start the game, and then they end up giving the toy up to keep the game going. Hailey is constantly on the go and always into everything. Shoe laces and tags have no place in shoes or on toys at the moment. DDD, Hailey has definitely perked him up since Dee's passing. He has a new interest in everything and is playing with toys again. AH, she is a true Tassie Devil, always flat out. OH and her have a battle going on over a large excavation project in the back yard. She digs and he fills it in. She digs the hole bigger and eats the grass that he puts on top, and he fills it in again. Rinse and repeat. My money is on Hailey winning the war. She has more persistence lol tdierikx, Zeph can be quite protective of his girl. There is a never ending peeing competition with the entire male Collie over the back. Hailey play bows to Tyson, and Zeph goes over and pees on him. Thank goodness she has slowed down a little. At one stage she was putting on 2 kg a week. But her growth plates are still huge, so there is still a lot of growing to do yet. pers, so very true. Hailey is a fast learner. And fast mover. She can push the back door open and bolt inside, but the door closes and leaves Zeph standing on the other side, looking in rather forlornly. So glad that you love the update. Hailey is a gorgeous whirlwind, who is the cutest nut case we have ever had in this household.

Hello Miss Dee Dee. Today would have been your 10th birthday. Your's and your handsome brother Tito, but you both left us earlier this year. I am still very lost without you here. Life has been changed irrevocably since your passing. I hope that you and Tito are together swimming and playing keepings off and eating lots of party food. Love you always gorgeous girl.

She is growing on him more and more each day. He is not sure about the teeth part at the moment, or being stalked and charged at like prey. But he loves the toys and extra food aspect. He will always check on her when she has been out of sight, so I really do think that he approves lol

20-7-2008 - 14-2-2018 On Valentines Day our beautiful Dee Dee Duster passed away so unexpectedly. She was the most awesome bitch I have ever had the privilege of sharing my life with. She was an absolute clown, who loved to work. She found her love later in life, Rally O, which she excelled at. She also discovered that people were not so scary after all and loved her pets as therapy work. She was definitely breedest and absolutely loved black and tan or black boy dogs. She was the biggest flirt with them around. But she was also a feral bitch when it came to SWFs and cats. Well, we can't all be perfect. She taught me so much about myself as a trainer, which made us such an awesome team together. The house is so quiet without you my Duster, and we are so devastated at your sudden passing. Enjoy swimming after all the ducks, chasing as many rabbits as you can find, eating as much of the naughty food as you like, and rolling in the green grass in the sunshine. I can highly recommend Fiona Kates. http://www.kateschiro.com.au/pets.html She has looked after 3 of my Rotties and has been absolutely brilliant with their care, and totally understands dogs who cannot be rushed. We currently go every 6 months for a checkup (Dee is 9 1/2 and Zeph is 8 1/2), but see her if either of the dogs have hurt themselves. They have been seeing her from puppyhood.

I am not a breeder, but I am a breed enthusiast. I love Rottweilers. I love their versatility. They can track. They can herd. They can guard and provide protection. They can heal and soothe. They are loyal. They are athletic and energetic. They love to snuggle and play games with kids. They love to work and train and show off. They love to just hang with family. To be able to do all of these things, they need to breathe. They need to cool themselves rapidly whilst working. They need to be able to gather scent and process it on the move. They need to keep up with active kids during summer and winter. The current trend to produce Rottweilers with shortened muzzles and folds of facial skin is reducing the ability of Rottweilers to do these things. Breeders and judges need to remember that Rottweilers are not Mastiffs.

Sometimes things are meant to be, and certain dogs become family at the right time for the right reasons. Mark and Legend know this. They are meant to be.
