  1. Hmm, what's the difference in a "trimmer" and a normal set of clippers?
  2. I agree with Wags. It's disgusting and totally wrong to offer a dog as a prize. The breeder and everyone else involved should be bloody ashamed of themselves.
  3. Actually, the blame IMO for "not doing wonders for the sport" lays at the feet of the judges being talked about. Not this thread!
  4. Thank you PF and others. Emmark or anyone else, if you are interested in the clippers then they are going on Ebay for $60 incl. postage.
  5. ANDIS CC-1 RECHARGEABLE CLIPPER for general use (shaving injuries or hotspot areas, pregnant tummies, trimming whiskers etc). Ta.
  6. I don't train at Logan at the moment - I don't train for obedience anywhere - I have trained there in the past. Congrats on the achievements you guys are having together, I'm so glad to hear you were a perfect match.
  7. There is also Logan All Breeds Obedience Club which while others have told me of bad experiences, I've not had any (yet I would never set foot in Southside again from my past experiences). Depending on where in Logan you are, Jimboomba Obedience Club might also be fairly close.
  8. Try not to stress and she how she goes. I've got everything crossed it will resolve quickly.
  9. I'm sure if you called or emailed BARK we can organise to get you some more before the next clinic. You may also wish to discuss whether Midge might prefer a tougher type of disc. Otherwise, mostly US online stores (search for Wham-O Fastback).
  10. I'm sorry to say it, but soaking the kibble makes bloat more likely. There is lots of information available online at the risk factors for bloat, I found this site quite helpful. It sounds like she's feeding a fairly BARFish type diet so adding in edible bones would be a great thing to do. Other than a few extra supplements (like the yoghurt you mentioned), more bones is all she needs to add IMO.
  11. It has blunt metal spines that ALL apply pressure to the dogs neck at once. It is NOT designed to "poke" the dog and cause pain.
  12. I must be missinformed... but I was under the impression that you sold Nutro (and ziwipeak) through your site natural petfoods australia... Yes, that's what I thought too.
  13. I voted BARF but feed BARF and Nutrience dry ATM.
  14. I was in the vets the other day and there was a poster saying that Advance was the only Australian made super premium food...but I personally would not call Advance super premium and nor would I feed it.
  15. My dogs do it both to cool down (digging in the water splashes it on the tummy) and because it's fun! The only real solution is to put the bowl up so it's at drinking height but can't get paws in. I would provide an outside bowl or paddling pool to do it in though, but that's just me.
  16. And don't forget to read the packets and avoid the ones in tomato juice rather than oil.
  17. EddyAnne is no longer a DOL member and yes, all their websites are deleted also.
  18. You are feeding bone to your dogs as well as the meat yes? If not, your dogs phosphorus/calcium balance will be out of whack and this could cause bone problems. Some bones that dogs can (and should) consume: - chicken wings, necks, frames, drumsticks - turkey wings, necks - lamb ribs (also known as flaps), neck - pork ribs - beef ribs (larger dogs)
  19. Haven, I think Troy has to approve all registrations these days.
  20. I'm sorry to hear that Fifi, to you and Banshee's owner.
  21. That sounds expensive to me. My vet charges:
  22. Perhaps someone would like to ask CHOICE then, as that is there statement on those foods.
