Hi all, I am looking at buying a stand dryer and after speaking to a few people the 2 brands that have seemed to be the most highly recommended are simpson and beacon. I have had a bit of look around on the net and found suppliers overseas but I was wondering if anyone here knows of any Australian suppliers? Cheers, Ishka

As has been said.... If you ban them they will go elsewhere. I personally would take their money (and I would charge extra and donate the money). I am in the process of starting my own grooming business and although I have no intentions on giving registered breeders or ANKC members a discount i do intend on giving clients a discount on a case by case basis. For example if i was to charge $30 to groom a dog i may only $20 per dog if i had a client that wanted 3 dogs done. All that being said, i admire what you are trying to do but I think it is more benefical for you to groom them and donate the money than to have these people go to another groomer who may not donate the money. I have used a few Black Shampoos that haven't done a great deal but I have recently started using the Plush Puppy Black Opal Shampoo on my dane and I can't reccomend it highly enough. Cheers, Ishka

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone one owns or has experience with hydrobaths from Hydrobaths Australia (www.hydrobaths.com.au)? I'm currently looking at buying one of there Autofill Hydrobaths. Also there is an added option for "Float switches to stop heaters burning out - $126" is this worth the extra money, or is it an upgrade that I don't really need? Cheers, Ishka

I think, like the people above said... supervision is the key. That said, it might be worth trying the bitter bite spray just as a precaution. I used this spray on the posts of my pergola (sp?) outside which my dog was chewing and it seemed to do the trick. Cheers, Ishka
