I caught Kane watchin the little bugs playing around in the grass.

He's definatly chunky! He's 6, nah he's not a rescue, he's my OH's dog but im slowly stealing ownership of him. He's the funniest little dog. I didn't used to be a staffy fan until I met Stanley, but he has def converted me! Ill post more pics tomorrow.

Ooh pick me pick me! I was just readin how u wanna trial a Golden Retriever in the future. I've got one of them. U can have him and ill have Kinta.

Well Labs are my fave breed and so will always own at least one but here are the ones id love-Aussies, becasue I avsolutly fell in love with them when Dusty was a puppy and I love the was shes turned out, Standard poodles becasue they move so gracefully they always look so perfect, border collies becasue of how smart they are.

Im getting a SLR for christmas and each bloody sales person recomends a totally different camara to the last one, drove me nuts! In the end I decided to look for a camara that suited ME and not sales people.

I played fetch and tug with Kane pretty much from when i got him BUT for the first few months he lived soley inside and the ball was rolled around on the floor and he didnt really run much to grap it, when I strated playing with him outside (about 6 months) I still wouldnt throw it too much. With tug, i would nevver pull on the toys very hard. Just a little pressure on him and then id let go. Hes been swimming pretty much since I got him too but that was becasue of the creek that runs through the horse paddock. Kinda hard keeping a dog bred for swimming activities away from the way. Just watch that he doesnt swim so much that he tires him self out. About 5-10 min a day is fine.

It was just on our local news. I saw the camaras there on sunday and they showed the story last night.

They read my name out on the news tonight. They showed Sunday's trial on there tonight and my name was read out. hehe.

Yeah but im not going to push it just yet.lol

Even though Kane is yellow, the heat really does affect him, i think its coz of how thick he's coat is. IM buying each of them cool coats for xmas so they might help him over summer a bit as well. We will have to organise going to the beach. Kane Benson and Dusty would have a ball all running around together. Im on such a high right now. I cant beleive how close to perfect this weekend has been for me, especially considering how bad Knox was.

Yeah sounds good. Im thinking about the next one i'll enter. Im not sure if ill do another one this year or if ill just leave it till next year, the heat gets to him a fair bit so prob leave it till next year but you never know. Plus i dunno what the next one thats not too far away is so oh well.

So you all wanna know how I went today then i guess? Well........................................................ . In the morning I won my class!! Got a score of 94! Was the highest scoring qualifing gippsland member againg, highest scoring CCD score (obviously lol) and highest scoring bitch or dog so woo hoo!! Got 4 ribbons this morning. This afternoon I was sitting on a pass, until he dropped in hes sit stay. Doesnt matter though, it was hot over there this afternoon and pretty much expected it so was fine with it. Could have gotten my title all in one weekend, getting it on my home ground would have been good but it doesnt matter. I was so estatic with getting my first pass yesturday that anything that happened today was just a bonus!

Im guessing your looking for a new one after how Toby acted today? I got mine from my vet so maybe ask your vet what a good one is.

Naw thank you very much Gayle and every one else. I was soooo happy with Kane today that you would have thought that Id have actually gotten my title! Hopefully he will do well tomorrow. Im just really happy to have gotten this frist pass.

lol yeah im pretty sure not as well. Thanx, im a lot more confident this time then i was for my first, so im hoping to do alot better.

Okay this is just an inquiry thing more then what i think will happen. I have entered 3 trials this weekend-one on saturday and the other 2 on sunday ( a double trial, one in the morning and one in the afternoon) If i got passes in all 3, does that mean that i would be eligable to get a title?
