OH and i have been thinking about applying for a prefix, we dont intend on breeding anytime soon, but if we were to buy a really nice bitch in future(which i do intend on and showing said bitch) we would like to be prepared incase we bred from the bitch. We had one picked put that we both liked, but after researching, the name we picked is taken by breeders in the US! so its really hard to pick out a prefix! how did you pick pit yours??

I.would say no. its your dog..tell them you will keep them updated, but no more visits.

He is EXTREMLY attatched to me, and pretty much always has been, which is fine. Ive just emailed the lady that helped me with my lab so im hoping she can help. And ill do a preg test too haha

Hes just turned one. Its only me he is like it with. Am I pregnant, umm well to be honest I dont actually know! Hes got even more clingy towards me recently..

Yeah, jane helped heaps with kane. I take him to class, oh wont even come watch. I dont think he thinks hes boss, im the only one he will follow around, he only follows my commands so he knows im boss. Everytime he does it ge gets growled at and I move him away for a bit then bring him back.

Up until recently, Jax loved other dog. He loved socialising and meeting new dogs. But now it seems its all changed. He growls at new dogs and just seems unhappy with.other dogs being around. But its only when im around! If OH.takes.him for.a walk or takes him to.a friends house, he is the way he used to be. I come into the equation and it all changes! Why is.he doing this? (hes been socialied and has been doing obediance classes since.he was 12 weeks). Its kinda upsetting as I do intend on adding.a second dog to the family in the next year or so, but im worried about how he would react to a puppy.

yeah golden retriever. when he was a puppy he ran through a cloud of bugs and they bit him all over the face. Was the vet that told me to give him half the low dose tablet.

when he was a puppy, so id say the same would be fine for ur dog too.

my dogs sleep outside in their individual pens. just say bed time dogs and they go wait at the back door. once door is open they go off into their pens, and they always go into the right pen all on their own, dont need to guide them into their own, they just go straight in their gates and into their kennels.

my sisters little maltese cross used to do this, she just eventually grew out of it....

they ran over their puppy on purpose?????

haha what a moron! i know a similar story to that, a friend had a female GR and was given a male JRT. told them that at least one of thesedogs would need to be desexed. Oh no, no need or that, JRT is way too small to get GR pregnant. What happened 6 months later? GR gave birth to a litter of pups sired by JRT.....

This is other halfs Stafford, Stanley (Egyptian Rose Rusty Red). no matter what, he always looks bad in photos, no matter how hard we try or what we do. This is a very rare occasion in which he looks good, so thought id share. edited coz i realised i forgot to add the pics lol

Dogs are dogs, therefore they need to be treated as dogs. They are not humans.

oh nah hes ears arent think or unruly anything, just a guy with a stafford at obediance class the other weekend said just to tape them up a little to have them sit a little better

At the moment, Jaxsons ears are starting to look rather strange. I got told to use tape on them but honestly ive got no idea what i actually need to do! can someone please help me? thanks.

another time was when Kane jumped up under my chin. I have a bung jw which on a regularbasis gets stuck and i can only open it a short way. One this one walk, my jaw was in stuck mode. we went to the park and i went to bend down, kane jumped up and hit me smack in the chin. hurt like hell but unclicked my jaw and has been fine ever since! another time was caused by my mums GR. this dog just cant wim. ive no idea what he does but he just cant swim. one day he followed kane out into a lake and then realised he couldnt touch the bottom and then he freaked out. i went to rescue him, which resulted in him trying to climb ontop of me, leaving me COVERED in scratches. all over the front of my body!

Jaxson has just recently learnt how to jump onto the couch, and resturday when OH left him inside he was extremly over excited for some reason and flew onto the couch, which i happene to be lying on at the time. as he jumped onto the couch he skidded acros my arm, leaving 3 deep scratches on my left upper arm. needless to say it hurt quiet a bit! who else has had dog related injuries?
