  1. i know of a very similar case had vets stumped also!! have you had blood tests done? dont want t scare you with outcome ;but strongly advise you to have the lympnodes checked & blood tests good luck ;you can pm me if you want to hear more
  2. Cant add much else to what has alresdy been said; but the water tepreture does make a difference!baby bath temp( not to hot not to cold!!!)dont emerse your pup in water; but use a spray attatchment not to hard ;talk to puppy al lthe time you are bathing it be it in the bath ;laundry tub whatever keep the colar on so you can gently restrain it; time helps also ;they hate the first bath but grow to love it once youve got the hang of it!!reward after & make it a fun time ;good luck ;ps buy some wet eather gear for yourself PPS never tip water over pups face ,
  3. bless his litle cotton socks!!!!thats probally what he needs ! i swear by the ointment your vet has prescribed & find it a great allover help for sores cuts & alliges; its probally going to do the trick any way;good luck
  4. I wouldnt be putting anything on it; as it is better to keep the area dry ;if its not swollen;red or pussy i wouldnt worry to much but keep an eye on it & maybe ring vet that performed surgery; good luck
  5. I always advise my new puppy owners that if they want to add to kibble ; eg mince /vegies /ect ;to mix it in with the kibble or you will find the pup will only eat the tasty food & leave the kibble; refere to the kibble guide as to how much to feed & reduce the amount of kibble accordingly to what you add to it;
  6. Stop making an on going game ;thats what puppies do & how they see it ;; be very firm & let pup no you are not playing ; maybe a good flick on the nose as a responce will work;; each puppy is different ;you just have to get what works for yours ;but first & for most it must learn respect f or its pack leader YOU ;not going to say good luck cause it takes more than that!but hope you find the solution.
  7. GOOD THINKIN (( having 5 weeks of to get dogs acustomed to each other ; )i have always found it better not to force one on to the other; just let them be (supervised OF corse )& judge for yourself the responce you get from the older dog to the puppy & riseversa;it may take the older 1 a few days to accept the new intrudor; but continue to treat old dog same as always ;feed separatly;but treat as equals ; theyll be cuddled up together in no time ;we hope; good luck
  8. I always advise my puppy buyers to buy some yogurt with aphidoficus(probally spelt wrong)because it is quite normal for a pup to get stressed when going to a new home; add i tspn to his food (BLAND for a few days)then return to kibble he was raised on ;your breeder should have informed you of what hes been raised on ;do not change his diet ;as this can also cause the runs;if the vomiting continues seek vetenary advise ; but if hes not letharic & is drinking plenty ;dont worry ;hell settle soon; good luck.
  9. I personally wouldnt be going to a vet that suggests removing baby teeth !unless like said b4 there is a problem with them; I also agree with other comments re dew claws ;some of my dogs still have thier front ones & provided they are kept under contol (by trimming)you shouldnt have any problems
  10. I have also found drontal to be a bit (harsh) for thier 1st worming ;if pup vomited it up i would re worm with a milder syrup
  11. thanx for your advise ;but shes not like it with the others
  12. my pups just take to the water when they learn it is there 24/7 FRESH &CLEAN ( about 3-4 weks of age) >I; DO NOT GIVE MILK TO MY PUPS UNLESS OF CORSE IT IS BIOLAC OR ONE OF THE OTHER SUUPP FEEDS as some pups are sometimes lactose intolorant & it will cause them to get the runs.

  18. Sounds like your old girl is incontanent; i have just started my old girl on hormone replacment pill prescribed by my vet ;there are various treatments available some more costly than others I opted for the hormone replacment pills & my old girl13yrs is going really well she has only been on them 2wks & no accidents so far ;but i would mention the smell as well to your vet it could be an infection
