When giving necks, it is advisable to cut them up ,as whole ones are not digested propally, by pups or dogs, just gulped in one go

I can identify with you ,my 13 yr old cocker is not only going deaf ,but only has one eye & well on the way to being senial!!!1;I find she reacts to vibrations ,such as stamping my foot ,to get her attention ,then i use hand signals which she appears to understand . it is so sad to watch them as they age ,

Optimmune Eye Ointment For Dry Eye
Cockerlover replied to doggiedo's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I also have a bitch with dry eye,she has to have optimmune ointment 2xday fo the rest of her life !!it is very expensive (I KNOW)!!,& the vsits yr vet is saying you must have, is probally to check on the eyes ,re tear testing ect I have also heard that over the counter chemist dry eye drops work just as well, @ a greatly reduced price!! but havnt tried them ,would love more info on that, if any one has tried an alternative treatment ,thanx -
Understandably a worried mum but dont be if its only a slight bleed imo perfectly normal ,just keep your eye on her ,but by the time you read this ,she should be back to normal !!just keep her as quite as possible for a few days ,for the wound to heal .
