I havnt read all the replys ,but I wanted to add my condolences also ,Only Yesterday I was thinkin this ,what if its not My ******* in the casket,then I stopped my thoughts & realized regardless of what, if anything is in the casket ,it carries the never ending memories & love I had for my heart boy . When I had my Huckie cremated the vets were Fantastic !!& did all the arranging for me <I was to upet to even think !!!!. I also had a painting done of him & planted a rose (best Friend ) in memory of him . Console yrself @ this heart wrenching time ,if u can ,with the knowledge yr Dog will ALWAYS be with You ,not just the ashes ,but her spirit will live on in your hearts forever .She will be watching over you .

I personally feel there is to much intervension ,vets r great in an emergency ,but we as breeders know our dogs best , mother nature has a way of dealing with natural things ,so i sway towards trusting her judgement & using sence not science

A sad but to often told story , Not many groomers will take the time to do a proper cocker cut !!!.(apart from the fact they no not how) unfortunatley the damage has now been done & unless u r prepared to put in a lot of time & effort ,yr cocker will probaly never grow back a *normal coat *, feel fre to pm me if u need more advise

:D bit mesy !!u aint sen nothing yet !! I used to feed individually ,but found it easier to place a large flat plate down & place pups around it ,they soon get the message If feeding kibble, soak overnite in hot water & re fridgerate ,warming t body temp b4 serving as mush,for a couple of weeks ,gradually reducing the *mushy * stage,til eating dry , clean fresh water should also be available @ all times

Just saw the great news in cocker thread I was up then ,may be cause i also gave birth @ exactly that time ,to many years ago to divolge LOL she shares my eldest sons birthday . CONGRATULATIONS to ALL involved
